Bishop88
Firstly. Will HPI dirt bonz (hpi 4852) fit on the hpi warloc wheel? (Hpi 3191) If so what foam do I want? I mainly just bash if that matters If in doubt.... Flat out
RCbutcher
Tires usually include the foams with them mate. If the wheels are 3.8 inch and the tires say for 3.8in then they will suit your savi xl But I would buy proline desperado 3.8in half in offset then some proline trenchers or badlands. They might be the same price or cheaper knowing hpi prices. Proline make the best basher tires and the rims are very strong too.
Bishop88
I want it to be stable and agile for the speed runs too. The standard wheels just ballon or make it wobble around. If in doubt.... Flat out
Bishop88
Also I want to keep the warlocks so I can use the hex brace from the hot racing 17mm kit If in doubt.... Flat out
Tug
All Proline tyres are soft and will need belting to reduce ballooning. For speed runs, I'd go with Badlands, good tyre, but you'll kill them quickly on road. Trenchers are a great design, but only available in either the 40 series which are way too tall, or the Trencher X's which are too damn fat. For those two reasons, I think you should avoid them for what you're asking.
Bishop88
God this is confusing. In simple I just want it to go fast and not be on its roof every 3 seconds. If in doubt.... Flat out
Tug
Chevrons. No grip, last years, won't be destroyed by Tarmac.
autobutcher
I use pre mounted Badlands on my savvy flux, I run mainly on 5s and they are outstanding on grass and mud, got the hot racing 17mm as well and the collar is still used, just turned around. With winter peeking around the corner these tyres are the dogs danglies in my opinion.
Bishop88
By turning the collar around surly it doesn't do anything then? If in doubt.... Flat out
