My very first 1/10 short course truck. Tips and advice needed please!

Well I got a new little problem with my truck. After letting my 8 year old nephew have a go with it (big mistake!) I have a slight difference in my steering. I seem to get full lock going left and not going right. the difference is not that big but big enough to effect my turning circle and to annoy me! I have stripped the front end down and rebuilt it and still have the same problem. Any ideas what this could be? Im not sure of the name of the adjustable rod things that connect the servo arms to the c hubs but I have also had a little play with them to see if that's the problem and no joy. Is it possible my servo has stripped some teeth inside it? I have the stock 2075 traxxas plastic geared servo.
