Tamiya TA-03RS Lancia 037

Hello Everybody!

I was able to get a used Tamiya TA-03RS chassis and a brand new Lancia 037 hard plastic body. After spending months of working on this car (I'm really bad in painting my cars), it finally was time to bring it outside.
For this video I removed the drive-belt to have rear-wheel drive only, to make it look just like the real car.

I really hope you like it, comments are always welcome!

Thank you all very much!

I think, let the car staying on the shelf is the best choice. That's exactly where mine will be from now on.

I wanted to do some scenes when it's raining. But the only time it rained during the last three weeks was at night. So I went out that evening and... crashed! I had a big crack on the front. But fortunately I was able to fix it with some glue and some styrene on the inside. After using a little bit of putty and some paint, the crack was gone after sanding and polishing.

That is awful to hear :( Good to know you've repaired the shell, but still.... Definitely underlines where mine is stopping! ;)

Wow, cracking job on the car and the video. Very well setup and edited.

Now that Lancia TT-02r is looking even more tempting..

I like this a lot, shell looks great. Glad to see you using it and its not a shelf queen too, surely thats the point of rc cars?

Yes and no. This model is now a rarity, especially in unmolested, original condition....My example cost around

Thank you all very much!

@Daveyb84: I have the same opinion as you, that RC-Cars are made for driving. But it's like Noj said: This model is a real rarity and will increase in value in the next years. My plan was to very carefully do a video and put it on the shelf. Unfortunately my plans were crossed by a slippery wooden bridge :-(

But anyway, it still looks great and puts a smile on my face everytime I see it standing on the shelf now.

Greetings!
