Nice collection of parts. You do realise that once you've started on a 3906 you'll end up with virtually none of it left? My original 3906 is still one of my favourites, but............. there's only about 10% of it left! The rest is hop-ups! The thing is, I don't actually regret it, it's been such a fun learning curve. I was so Green when I first got it, I didn't know anything! I threw money at it, buying bits left, right and centre! I'll never sell it! Ever! It's not great, it's not indestructible, but it's damn good and it's mine!

I look forward to seeing yours finished. Crack on! ;)

Fifth scale? None,I have just sold my last tourer and 5T.I had 14 at one stage ,all hopped up and all runners, and enough parts to open a shop(as I was told). But I go through phase's and now I have gone back to the electric stage.I'll get bored soon as I have my eye on a hexacopter, and that'll start something else :whistling:

  • 2 weeks later...

I think the 3.3 'T' only came with wider.

Should say on the RPM site I'd have thought.

Al.

My thoughts too, but I wasn't 100%.

How's all your projects coming on? Completed any yet?

Hi Tug, waiting to complete the house move - should get 'the contract' during this week.

Once things are more settled, and I'm moved in, I should get things moving again.

'J', sorry for the threadjack.

With the 3908 based chassis, you should be able to fit a Revo centre diff I'd have thought.

That way you can play with the centre diff viscosity AND up the power without having a performing seal.

The wider A arms and shafts first made an appearance on the 2.5r Maxx truck. I was hungry to get my hands on them as I installed the Picco 21 into my 2.5 and it made a right mess of the shafts.  It wasnt produced for long before Traxxas played a little with the 3.3. They made a short chassis version of the 3.3 ( not for long )  which was the 4909 before lengthening out to the current longer chassis.
