Haha that's my thoughts on it to be honest. :-)looked a bit better with plain spray can but got bored

Got the Df02 for 20 quid off a mate anyway so had no shell and wanted something to keep the dirt out, cue my usual scrimping and saw an old fibreglass repair kit lying around so thought I would give making one a go

Made a rough one from card and lots of tape

and then put the stuff over it with generous amounts of resin,

then when it was dry peeled it off

, it's much heavier but quite a bit more substantial when it rolls which for some reason I get a lot of with nandas on, guessing the width is 1/10 but grip is much more than usual

Thought I should represent for the states a little: CEN Matrix R3 RTR with a Sirio .28 mx sti motor and Revline pipe. The body and lights are a home grown mods- don't get a lotta run time while the sun is still up!!!

no tools in mine as i have enough of those lol. handy little box though.

 

as for mods yeah theres been a few and lots more going on this week as well. i'll get some more pictures up once they are on.

Had Nosram version of this engine in my X1 Hong Nor buggy before I sold it.

Even in a 20t clutch head it still burned the absolute hell thru tyres. Seen it rip and kick thru 3/4 of them on tarmac, using street tyres. Even burned thru a good set of Pro lines in 3 runs.

Wanted to do something duffernt so done this with a shell, photo just doesn't do it justice, was too light when I took the picture, but you get the idea, what you all think?

Should look sweet at night will be taking it to bhbf too
