If you are 100% sure it's not the controller next thing to do is work from the cheapest option up.... I assume you have a 27/40mhz radio set so check crystals / batteries in the system.

Then battery box, the servos (I doubt 2 would fail but ya never know) reciever itself (at this point probs cheaper to buy a new radio set ansmann do a 2.4ghz set for

The one you have tagged is a 27mhz set up, what you really want now days is a 2.4ghz tx rx set so you don't have to worry about crystals n interference, the one that chimp pointed out is a good cheap set but if I was u I'd go for one with end point adjustments so u dont blow ur servos by over straining them, and save money in the long run ;) .... Something like this good starting block http://www.modelsport.co.uk/absima-cr3p-afhds-2.4ghz-3-channel-radio-system/rc-car-products/372690 unless you want sticks then here's that option http://www.modelsport.co.uk/core-rc-code-2.4ghz-3-channel-fhss-lcd-stick-combo/rc-car-products/38217

I understand what your saying however I want to get rid of any problems as my controller is not at fault and Im trying to get back into my nitro car before I start spending money on it also I am planning on keeping it as standard looking as possible so any mods in the future will be to the servos and transmitter

The beauty of running 27-40mhz FM or AM these days is that everyone else thinks they have to use 2.4..... :)

...and I use stick....
