  1. I recently did the most stupid thing ever (well second most after getting into RC cars) - I bought a used Onroad car on Ebay. The car is a TS4N - Im not even sure what version it is but it has a .12 engine 2 speed & battle scars! It was a bit of a bargain at
  2. well this makes me wish I had held of getting my TT02 now
  3. This looks REALLY interesting I would love to see it finished. keep us posted on this

    TT02 R

Just as a little update on my TT02... yeah the brushless kit has made it undrivable there is so much power it just donuts... Im also quite sure even with the budget setup I have it would beat my Xray 808 with a novarossi R10 its crazy!!

    TT02 R

I bought a TT02 - R & after finding the silvercan to be a little...crap I have upgraded the following: Race Bearings Aluminium Drive Shaft Oil Filled Shocks Etronix 13.5T Brushless & ESC Overlander 3250 2c Lipo all in all its cost around 300 which is alot for a TT02 but it should be fast!! In hindsight looking at the features on the XV01 I wish I had gone for that, the TT02 is very open and since I am wanting to use it multisurface it will need alot of cleaning!!
  6. Interesting, what top speed will you be looking at??
  7. Best replacement for the pullstart would be to get some ergal engine mounts for it and buy a starterbox... No more blistered fingers As for mine so far; Hpi trophy fuel tank (took some drilling) Shock socks (keep grit out of the shocks on loose dirt/ gravel). Cleaned out diffs and replaced grease with diff oil. Reoiled shocks (50wt/45) Stainless steel screwset Not alot really but I would replace fuel tank ASAP as its a case of when it will break not if on the s2
  8. Hi, as the title says I am looking for my first electric buggy/truggy, not too bothered which. its actually for my girlfriend who seems to like abusing my RC but HATES all the tinkering I do with my nitro. Ideally I would like something strong, cheap to buy, plentyful supply of parts, and that isnt too quick so she can learn how to control it properly and stop hitting other buggys on the track!, also the track we run on is very loose dirt type surface with some big jumps in. it was designed for 1/8 buggys my EB4 easily gets 5-6 feet on them, so I would need something that can hold its own in this environment. & my budget is "as cheap as is possible" (yes I am rather specific on this any ideas would be very welcome thanks Matt
  9. If I am wanting to sell anything and don't have an idea on price, I checkout fleebay and use that as a ballpark.
  10. Interesting, I might try using the original mounting on my s2.5 using some fuel line top & bottom, see if it lasts
  11. The mugen mbx5 & X-ray xb8 tanks will fit apparently. The xb8 is hard to come by and the mbx5 is getting rarer In the uk. Tbh if you can make a tank fit, then make it Another point to think about is the mounting. The 2.5 mounting is really poor and you might fid that with mounts from the s3 which are much better, your normal s2 tank would last longer.
  12. I'll second that, fragile fuel tank, 1/2 a lap of the local track and it went, the guys there were saying problem doesn't look to be the tank itself but the mounting , it's basically a long screw some fuel pipe and a standard 5.5mm bolt on the s2.5 pro, I am upgrading the tank and mounting to a mugen mbx5 although has to come from USA so will take a few weeks Also found the hyper 7 tanks fit with some "gentile persuasion" and cable ties not an ideal fix thoigh as my exhaust was melting it!
  13. Make it a DRS system and link it to your throttle... Would look awesome
  14. If you are 100% sure it's not the controller next thing to do is work from the cheapest option up.... I assume you have a 27/40mhz radio set so check crystals / batteries in the system. Then battery box, the servos (I doubt 2 would fail but ya never know) reciever itself (at this point probs cheaper to buy a new radio set ansmann do a 2.4ghz set for
