Think I have worked out why I couldn't restart my car yesterday , noticed manifold gasket had split and started to come out , pressure on pull cord has gone , is this because of lack off pressure caused by air leak ? With my lack of knowledge this is my conclusion from what I have read on Internet . Any experienced advise would be greatly received . Cheers guys !

Yeah that will be your problem as there's nothing really keepin the pressure inside the engine so your best bet would be a new gasket and repair or if its new and still under warranty get the shop phones and tell um what the score is ;-)

Makes sense cheers pal , just ordered a Pack of 5 on eBay . The engine has only had 5 tanks through it so figure I may need few in the future so should be back running for weekend .
