    Just fitted DDM pipe to my Maverick Blackout and was wondering if anyone knows what the Allen key screw does on the very end of the pipe ? ( bottom left in picture next to tyre )

    Bought from FREEPRAWN , bit of work to fit as you have turn the tank round the opposite way and dogbones go through it , so that means all the back end has to come off , but I think it's worth it ?

    Only had it 2 months and yes this is the transmiter it came with .

    No he does them for 2ch just thinks this particular one isn't compatable with any kill switch , unless someone can tell me different and have done it ? This is the transmitter in question .

    What transmitter are you using pal ? Jolly Rodger seems to think my stock Maverick MTX 242 won't work with any kill switch .

    Not knowing much about petrol rc's and having my throttle servo break on the first tank I think I need a kill switch ! Would this work on my Blackout ? And is it a good option ? Super Bee Kill Switch http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=201212753318 Also would I need a splitter as it has a four channel receiver but only a two channel controller ??????

    No it's different they had no stock of the Maverick ones so sent a more powerful SB5 HPI one instead.

    New servo turned up today . Broke Sunday . Emailed Sunday . Receipt sent by email Tuesday. New servo turned up Wednesday. Can't fault HPI a for thier customer service , let's hope this one lasts a bit longer !

    Well latest update is HPI emailed today to say they will send me a new servo free of charge . They have none of the Maverick ones so will send me a more powerful SB5 HPI one instead . Can't fault their customer service a day and a half and two emails to sort it , first class service I think ?????? What's the opinion on the new servo good/bad or about same standard ????????

    I know stock servos aren't up to much but surely you should get more than half a tank out of one !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good quick response from HPI from my Emal yesterday , they have asked for proof of purchase and my full address. Will keep updating thread , let's hope they send replacement and keep a good name for themselves !

    Battery was just stock one it came with .

    I had set end points so it shouldn't have been that and brake side of servo still working , it's the accelerator side that's not workin and I was only half throttle at best as I was running in . But thanks for the advice .

    Thanks for the offer of a helping hand pal . Got a new Alturn 20 kg servo from one of my nitro cars that I never used but don't see why I should have to put it in until I have to , let's hope HPI do the decent thing and supply me with a new one ! Will keep updating thread with how I get on .

    Run Maverick Blackout MT for first time . Didn't even get engine broke in as throttle servo packed up halfway through first tank NOT GOOD !!!!!!!! Email sent to HPI , let's see how good customer service is ????????
