DJI Phantom RTF

Guys as for the naza stuff you REALLY REALLY need to read up.

UBEC you want to run anything on the quad with this , dont use the naza BEC.

before you do any flights.

remove props, boot up naza systems.

throttle up say 75%, then ...

turn off TX, yes turn it off, and listen to what quads motors do.

if i am correct its possible the RTH is not set correct and quad will

drop from sky, the safety is set at L100 ( -100 throttle ie: shut down)

the manual is in chinglish so expect it to be a nightmare to read and understand.

Carpmart :

dude send me a PM with your home addy and details,

will throw one of my spares in the post to you FOC ( free of charge)

Have a Dubro prop balancer on the way,is it just a case of lightly sanding down the heavy side of the blade till the prop stays still in the balancer?

Yep

or dab CA glue on the light blade to equal up the heavy. ( blob superglue, leave to dry, check balance, rinse and repeat till both equal up)

or spray light side with varnish or something alike to balance out heavy side.( leave to dry check and rinse repeat as above)

or whack some tape on the light side. ( as above just keep adding tape rinse repeat till balanced)

you dont need to balance the props to take it for a test flight....i've only just started balancing mine but had about 6 flights without them balanced :)

I presume you got one then? first impressions???

Thats a first i have heard of this problem buddy.

if that frame is not seeing the TX, either the RX is not powered,

and/or its not bound to the RX .

does the chinglish manual show you a de-housing, may want to de-case the frame

and check the Naza flight box ( white box looks like a standard RX )

also a link to RCgroups massive phrampton thread : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1774685

Got it sorted thanks there Tamiyacowboy,

You have to put both Throttle and Elivation stick into the bottom left hand corner on the transmitter to fire the engines up then when running fly as normal,Der "o" for an idiots guide to Quads lol.

ah why didnt you say

" how do i ARM this bloody flying blender " lol

simples " zero throttle full left rudder and full left aerilons"

yep arming is something that is required but a very handy safety feature.

on multiwii and the likes quads, no lost fingers or prop knuckles.
