Extreemly loud clicks/cracks coming from e revo when accelerating from standstill.

dose anyone know where these might be coming from?

- rear diff??

I would suspect the diff...but also checfk the spur gear and make sure there is nothing trapped in or around the driveline

Guaranteed to be the rear diff its a very common problem in the E-Revos they only have poor quality 1/10 scale diffs in a 1/8 scale truggy! FLM do a alloy diff housing for them that should help allot to stopping it from happening again! There about

wow....

opened diff housing to find CARNAGE!!!ball bearings everywhere, teeth on gears destroyed, peices of the steel ball bearing caseing, peices of plastic along with thousands of scratches in the inside of the diff housing.

i think a bearing failed.. spilling ball bearings into the gears.. destroying them...

but at least we found the problem

If you're into wet running, the bearing's rust and then fail even faster.

classic fault when the bearings that hold the diff pinion go and mesh is thrown out..i've lost 2 diffs that way.

Best bet is to pop in new ones often...they are dirt cheap and save future heartache

I'd say better bearings ( common size so easy to find ), or you have a few other options:
