Nobafett Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 Myself and Haveymushman finally got around to testing out our buggy's on-road yesterday. Due to the naff weather we've had recently, we both switched all our gear from Truggy to Buggy. We both purchased some on-road tyres and a few little football training cones. We found a nice empty, smooth car park and made a few courses. We had an absolute blast and I think I enjoyed it as much as bashing off-road. Here is short clip filmed with a hd-hero in 720 at 60fps. Nobafett Posted October 21, 2012 Author Share Posted October 21, 2012 If you're watching this in the embedded player and can't see the description, the X2 is running an Xerun 150a and 2200kv combo, the Virus has a Hobbywing Esc with unknown motor, certainly higher kv though. Nobafett Posted October 22, 2012 Author Share Posted October 22, 2012 Yeah, they are pretty expensive. The video is only on the middle setting for quality. It does 1080p but I like the 60fps option which is only available in 720p. I've used it to film track days (big car) and the case is extremely waterproof, so awesome in the water filming kids etc. I'm tempted by the new HD hero 3.
