  2. Hi All, I've tried to reply to all the PMs so far, interest has been awesome, so thank you. I'm just waiting to hear back on an offer and then I'll update everyone as soon as I hear back on what is left. Will try and keep you posted asap without deliberately bumping the post. Thanks, Aaron

  4. Thanks guys. Thats why I got a 2wd buggy. Small and light and has a ton of potential.....once I find the right motor. I have plenty of info now to go shopping. Top skills all.
  5. That is exactly the info i need 13t/3000kv 60a Ledg!! Just quickly, why 13t? High 't' rating = smoother?
  6. Hey all, Getting a little confused with KV ratings etc so need a little nudge in the right direction. I'm not out to destroy this car, but want a quick motor for homemade tracks. No clubs near me. Running 2s only. Not out for speed runs up and down run. Want quick turn of speed so a bit torquie perhaps. Combo ideal as need esc too. I'm a confident driver but first venture into 2wd buggies and want to start off on right foot if upgrade car etc later on. Are these 540 cans? Thanks all. Aaron
  7. Now that is weird. My Nexx10 arrived yesterday and I was about to ask the same question. I have a wish list already (shock towers, shocks, metal spur, A-Arms) but I am really struggling to find anything. Could somebody please point me in the right direction, ie a link. Trust me, and you can check with my wife on this, I have searched threads going back months/years, but if I just had a product link the the product page or prod code. I'd buy them tonight. I've read the arms are the same as the Stampede but which one? Not knowing everything and with a real lack in measurements finding the right thing is a nightmare. At least the manual will say the size or screw or nut you need, eg m3x8. Should I just upgrade with the .crt bits? I'll start by hunting down the shocks. So, the is new to the stable to go with the brushless x1 crt, Virus, Terrier and Lupuz.
  8. To jump on Noba's parade again, it's a GoPro Hero mounted to rear wing so can face forwards or backwards.
  9. We're both running these: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/ansmann-racing-buggy-wheels-and-tyres-lp-street-white/rc-car-products/35899 Bloody impressive for under
  10. I have to say folks, road tyres on the buggy, best purchase ever. So much fun.
  11. Thanks for all the feedback. Looks as though I need some proper batts soon. I had planned on 5000mah 30c, but after reading this I guess I should get 35 or 40. Thanks all.
  12. Is it possible that in some way the ESC is discharging the batteries too fast? Like, in a few seconds fast. How can a fully charged 5000map 20-30c 4s lipo run to LVC (3.2v) in less than 20 seconds??
  13. Battery is Turnigy 5.0 20-30c discharge 5000mah If I wasn't so sure that battery was charged I'd say it was flat. Seems to go into low volt cutoff as per the troubleshoot guide. Runs, low power, stop with flashing red light. Will get noba to pop a new batt in to check again. Grr
  14. Ok chaps, litterally just tried car again in the dark outside. Gave it some beans and lasted about 7 seconds before car stopped......flashing red light!!! :?( Thoughts? Just about to program the esc to 4s which I thought I'd already done. Will let you know.
  15. So here's the issue. Using fully charged 4s 5000mah lipo. Turn on car, wait for beeps and ready to go. Drive up and down road at full power (1-2 sec burst) maybe 4 times. Car then drops power as if going into low voltage mode. Again, fully charged batts (same issue on different batts). Drive in circles for about 10 seconds or so wondering wtf, come off throttle try again and full power comes back for a few seconds before going back into slow mode. Can somebody explain this simply. I don't have much experience with brushless systems and I'm worried the esc is knacked, but I'm hopeful it's just a set up issue. Thanks all.
  16. Just a quickie to say thanks, everything has arrived safe. Looking forward to plugging in.
  17. It's at this point I might feel a little stupid. Transmitter was set to the wrong car. Car 1 and not car 0. .....errrrr....ahem....all fixed (if it was ever broken).... Off to the shed to solve the rest of the worlds problems.
  18. This is good news boys. The thread was slightly off initially but smoothed it out again and fine now. The nut is knacked as others fine fine. (laid on floor having tantrum) I just want green nuts.....
  19. But the servo is fine on the other channel. Does it with other servos too, Signal issue?
  20. Cheers harveyc, I'll take a look. Good to know they fit a trophy too. Opens up for those bits too. Good job!!!
