ironsy Posted January 14, 2012 Share Posted January 14, 2012 i have taken my hsp gladiator out for its 1st bashing after running it in and i have managed to bend both front shocks! i know im sure i will get the "thats what happens when you buy a cheap nitro car" and i knew when i bort it that things will brake but thats not a problem because i like tinkering and changing things :-) i was just wondering if there are any parts that i can add ie shocks from different models etc that will fit and be a bit stronger? also as i brake things will it be to my advantage to replace with alu or is plastic better? Djmix3r Posted January 14, 2012 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Aluminium will make the car a lot stronger and bulky but heavier reducing performance. Also it costs more. Plastic is lighter but not as strong but will keep your performance consistent. Also its quite cheap. It depends on your preference and what you are going to use the car for.
