nice stuff dude

just waiting on batteries now :whistling:

yea I probably going to order them in the new year. I'll just use what I have at the moment.

Get them RTR Red shock towers changed or double them up, they are well known to be a bit bendy :whistling:

Thanks I will have a look into that.

nice, how much bashing can it with stand? As it looks like you did put it through its paces.

i found it to be a very strong truggy, the only mod i did to it was t-bone bumpers which i believe saved me lots of shock towers and such.

i had problems with the diffs but im pretty sure that was down to my 1600kv motor with 6s :P

You've got that bit on the wrong way round :good: Looking on forums, they cause alot of trouble with meshing problems anyway, so remove it altogether, the motor mount is beefy enough to hold the motor without it :good: Also, as AJ said, the RTR shock towers aren't the strongest in the world, your best bet is probably getting the Losi front and rear towers. I'd also get the Answer RC ballraced Ackerman set as it removes a considerable amount of slop from the stock steering system.

If it was the other way around it wouldn't act like a motor cradle like it should?. The instructions does say it should be that way around but it does not matter anymore as my little mod has worked like a charm. Thanks for the advice and links I will have a look into that when I get some more funds. The list of things to get is growing by the day xD.

I took her for the first at a local park this afternoon, although it was cold as hell I had some fun and I think the first thing I need to get is some rear mud guards. I started off on 6s and worked my way upto some wheelies was fun. Then on 4s I did manage to find a small jump over a path for some air time =].

Here is a couple of pictures

This truggy is so easy to clean, just strip the front and rear ends off with a few screws hose it down. Dry it with blower, then leave it on a radiator for 5 mins and use a cloth to wipe the chassis jop done  . Compared to my revo which is a pain the ass to clean.

Since I don't have work this week guess I am going to be bashing

I have been started making a small list on things I am going to be needing weather its for spares and to upgrade things when they break.

Here is the list

T-bone bumper set

Answer Rc ball raced Ackermann set http://www.apexmodel...NSOPL808-R.html

KingsHeadz front and rear shock towers http://www.apexmodel...how/KP-241.html http://www.apexmodel...how/KP-251.html

Front suspension arms http://www.apexmodel...w/LOSA1702.html for spare

Rear suspension arms http://www.apexmodel...w/LOSA1723.html for spare

Are hopped up chassis braces really needed? If they are I probably was looking at the KingsHeadz bits again. Also I would like to find some truggy tyres like these http://www.modelspor...-products/27418 but without that price tag if possbile with some dish wheels. Plus wouldnt mind a on road set just not sure what to get.

If anything else people can think of please say as I would like to try and keep it light but strong.

Help again would appreciated and thanks in advanced (I am still somewhat a newbie but am learning everyday)

I should get some video time in Wales during Xmas period with her and will keep everyone posted.

John

ps forgot to add with are peoples thoughts on gearing as I am running 15/45 atmo on. I have found on 6s for a short period it does wheelie like mad, also quick but on 4s (running for a brief period) I found it quite slow but I think it might be the 4S Turnigy nano tech 25-50c 4500mah pack. I know a msuk member has suggested running a different pack, which I will do in the new year when I get some funds.

here is my 8ight t running on the 4s pack that i did think didnt give enough punch. but after today it was fine, maybe i did not charge the pack up properly the first time. i am going to get some better packs though in the new year. my old man was taking the footage.
