RCmad79
Hi guys, I was thinking, is there any such thing as a road tyre for a B4? I live right next to a big car park and want to take my buggy out onto it, but I dont want to wreck the usual off road tyres.
.AJ.
You can get Pro-line Road Rages to fit the rears and just run ribs on the front
ch!ef
have a look at the proline dirt hawg they do fronts too in those they are for dirt but have a nice profile to use on road.

RCmad79
any links to the fastrax ones you use? I have plenty of spare wheels, but I need to find the right tyres to fit them, or if they come with wheels already, would they fit a team associated B4? Si Coe
The Fastrax ones are hex fit so won't fit the B4 directly. You can fit adapters and bore the hole out slightly, but if you've got wheels already just use those. Anyway, Dirt Hawgs are a good choice, but most folks I know just use old worn spikes and run them till they die.....
RCmad79
would dirt hawgs work on wooden floors? I race indoors too and at the moment everyone uses schumacher mini pins/spikes yellow. Was thinking to try something different lol
Si Coe
Lets put it this way: Ribble Valley near me used to insist that everyone used Dirt Hawgs at their indoor track. Nobody raced buggys as result. They dropped the Dirt Hawgs rule, and now they are struggling to cope with the vast numbers of people turning up each week! My advice is to do what most of the racers I know do - when your race tyres lose their edge on the track (which is well before being actually dead) replace them. Then use the worn tyres for bashing. RCmad79
lol, will stick with the schumacher mini spikes for indoors then I probably will only get dirthawgs for bashing on the carpark/dirt areas near me
