Had urge an looks from my dog earlier to go park for a run so i we did biggrin.gif

great fun having 2 other dogs join the chase but field had something to say tongue.gif (so glad made up shield for chassis openings no more muck within :good: )

Was bored an debating to myself how to mount 10 smd led to front of buggy an not hamper shell fitment, as needed that bit more light an save E shell from my dog an mates kisses :P

so went into odds n ends tin too see what bits got that could get ball rolling.

 

2 stand offs

longer bolts

mounting plate

wire n heatshrink

 

As proto type used a top up card (template for final piece that be carbon fibre) 

marked location holes drilled away, then got reamer to make good for led (just one have at minute need to reorder more in plus couple red)

Being powered from own 3s,  have option to power from pack using in buggy if decide too..

Brought a rtr spec hyper8 last night off mate for a good price :hahadance:  needs very little to be sound roller, this is to be my onroad E buggy :whistling:

nice touch has alloy lower pin retainers but worn out plastic inserts ( quick fix as got spares)

Got some hardware in for build :yes:

 

esc

conversion kit

servo

 

I fitted spare hpi trophy 3.5 front cvd shafts with their hex n pin on rear :sweatdrop:

50k oil in centre diff

front an rear diffs shall leave for now as feel good

so onto beta set up:

had a cut alloy top plate saves cutting up carbon plate (for now)

yet to fab up spacers for diff for motor clearance of chassis

stock tray not for me so looking to get a losi 8e tray, forgot to get some bearings for steering ballcrank from shop when was there earlier.

Tiny update: 

 

So far installed new steering bearings, servo saver + stand off, installed servo an rx.

Got some hardware (inspiration) in  :sweatdrop:

Have you tried that cheapy 2650kv motor yet?

Was considering one myself

Not as yet but may do later or tomorrow :)

So been a slight change of plan regards to esc now be running mmm2 as bullets fitted to motor from factory are castle sized 6.5 direct plug n play less soldering for me :hahadance:

So got about finishing up odds n ends of conversion (wire tidying, shorten servo lead) few things still need to get but be out testing soon :P
