  2. Looking at that mate, look at the top shock mounts and you will see the stock mounts are much taller, so for the desired effect move the top of the shocks to holes going furthest away from where you are now, this should give a better overall stance. my lad has the same chassis with the 58mm yeah racing shocks and his needed playing with the top mounts until he was happy… @Lone-wolf, your F150 looks great!! The one pre-load spacer could be for torque twist although i cannot recall just one fitted on any of ours, if you need any, give me a shout, i have loads. Interested in the free mods you’re doing too.
  3. Today
  4. Thanks mate, that's what got me! Those bodies are so good looking. I've lowered my blazer high trail with softer springs, sags down quite a bit.
  5. @steephill The body on that looks so good I’ve just been window shopping on MS to look at prices 😂 It’ll be interesting to see how it looks lowered - I think it’ll be a stunner.
  6. Rock van trying out the new wheels and tyres
  7. @TommyC like @Stormbringer said. You might want to try the firmer springs on the rear of your Defender. The weight of the body makes it sag quite a lot.
  8. One of my trx4s was the kit. Really nice kit to build. I recently got a 2021 Bronco body for it. A set of 324mm stainless links from Injora and the inner fenders with the clipless mounts for body (trx8080x).
  9. Fixed them.. Whole new wing bracket for the 9020 and some new body posts for the 16988A-Pro Changed the whole bracket cause I might go for a wing delete on it. Make it a bit more 'bashable'. The problem is the wing bracket is also what the rear chassis brace is bolted to, it's structural to the rear shock mounts too. So I'm keeping the bashed up old wing mount to have a play with some 'trimming down' on it. See if I can keep the structural parts but lose the rest. Also adjust toe on the 9020 and the 124016 V2
  10. Yehh it is sitting higher with new chassis but you can move the shocks to other holes to lower it with new chassis

  12. Can someone explain how this has a lower centre of gravity? First two pics are with the new chassis

  14. I have the brass rings in the wheels along with brass dif covers and the brass hexes on my 1 but i havnt touched the transmission yet
  15. Looking good stormsy mate just weighed my F-150 and she is 549g this is before i fit the metal gears in transmission
  16. Who’s built their TRX-4 from the builders kit and was it the fulfilling experience you hoped for? I love building kits but I’m really not sure whether to bother with this as the kit doesn’t really offer any options as it’s so complete out of the box, just being short a body.
  17. The high trail F-150 body is amazing but I’m keen to see this lowered as the high trails generally look less scale and more toy like to my eye.
  18. Fitted the bits that arrived during the week to the wee Landy And she has put on weight from 819 gramms up to 898 naughty girl
  19. The tart is wearing some lip stick 🤣🤣🤣
