RC4WD Crawler specialist has announced the Axial SCX10 (or AX10-axis) has a chain drive. The chains are separately screwed to each axis, so that the steering works like a conventional tires. When and at what price, the axes will be available is not yet known. Suffice it certainly: a favorable element of fun for sure!

The link to the tracks on their site goes to a blank page :( so no price. I wonder if two would work with skids on a 2WD?

You won't be able to spin these up to silly fast speeds without shedding a track I suspect, but that's not the point.

They look excellent!. For me, I would put a pair on the back, leave wheels on teh front and paint the thing in army colours :)

With a 50t motor, you'll not be spinning anything in a hurry.
