ok i found the set switch, it was tiny, but now it thinks the steering is the throttle and the throttle does nothing

i have the same esc on mine and never had this problem, it just worked straight from the box

there is a red/black wire which has set next to it, but no button

my son has a hpi bullet, last month he crashed it and we had to rip the lipo out, the esc popped as the fan blades on the esc and the motor fans broke off, any way today the new esc arrived plugged it all in, now we have a problem, we have steering but no throttle, this is the spec, traxxas tx and rx, hobbyking 120amp esc, hpi motor. traxxas page says if the rx has a red light there is a problem at the motor end, but i cant find anything

have you looked at the hpi bullets, you can get a second hand flux for near

i have replaced all the plastic hubs with topcad and they are fine

maybe modelsport should expand to more shops around the country

sorry but i am just saying it as it is, the shop only ever old stuff no one wanted and the same display in the window since the 90's probably longer and when you asked them about certain models they never had a clue, i think he only liked planes and yes very over priced on everything. i only buy from model sport now as every where else i go seem to be rather ignorant and dont want to know unless your spending hundreds of pounds
