My Austar 313 and my Alloy SCX 10

The plastic isn't exactly soft,I'd say it was more a belt and braces approach,though the cross braces on the chassis do allow a slight flex. On the whole,it's a good deal for the money.

The Hg P402 has a 2 speed box,but it only has a manual switchover OOTB. You can get a remote activation kit from China though.

Personally I run a Floureon 3500 mAh soft case 3s lipo in mine,though I use a Hobbywing Quicrun 1080 ESC.

The RGT is a 1st generation FTX Outback with the 3 point links and inside shocks.

It has it's problems,but they're not insurmountable. It's major problem is a lack of chassis reinforcement,which can be easily remedied with a length of 15mmx15mm aluminium angle,cut and drilled to suit. It's a reasonably resiliant chassisthat's very easy to work on and upgrade part can be found quite easily. It's other real drawback is a lack of steering,which I'm working on at the moment.

Received an FTX Kanyon,a set of 1.9" wheels and accessories for various vehicles.

I haven't changed the shocks yet or the oil in them,but I have changed the placement of the battery tray and electronics to a Hobbywing 1080 esc and running a 2200 mAh 3s lipo. I also changed the steering hubs to alloy ones and added two bends in the steering rod to allow it to clear the front pumpkin at full lock. I've also extended the kit battery tray to allow me to run full size 3s lipo softpacks of 3500 Mah. Unfortunately,the extension isn't quite enough to allow hard case lipo's to be fitted.

Just a cheap FTX Outback 2.
