  1. Any recommendations for a good solid folding knife? I’ve had enough of replacing Stanley blades just for cutting open boxes and thick cardboard!

      Even the plastic fantastic 9mm budget one (couple quid new) is sturdy enough, and sharp

      If it's just for opening boxes then I'd get an Irwin retractable knife or snap off blade knife. Had mine for years, very solid and well made compared to some. Stay away from plastic knives imho unless you're happy to treat it as a disposable/replaceable tool.
