I was thinking of getting the electric version of the ftx torro. What's everyone's opinion on that? Quality wise. Does it match up with the others you guys have suggested?

I'm still very new to the hobby and I saw the price for that scale and how it is still a proper hobby grade rc car and I got it for that reason. But I would just like to get an rc car where I can take it out for me than a few runs without it going nearly dead completely on me. Any suggestions will do. Just obviously not top of the range stuff like the traxxas xmaxx

Did that, still nothing I plugged in my esc from my ion dt and still same issues. So, motor perhaps? But that wouldn't explain its turning problems 🤦‍♂️ I need an rc car that doesn't break so easily or so much!

Update: I tried rebinding and the same issues are still there. Should I get a new esc?

No they really dont! First time I used mine it bumped into a wall, not even at full speed and it broke the castor block on it!

Hi! I have this maverick ion mt and havent used it too many times and it's gone faulty on me already. It now only goes forwards. It doesn't go backwards and it now doesn't turn in any direction. The batteries are all new and charged so I'm wondering what the issue could be. Any help? Attached a picture so you know the truck

Hi! Im getting an electric version of the ftx zorro as my next car and I was wondering if there were any recommendations on if there were any other tyre/wheel branded sets that fit this model? Would like to get some variations if possible! Feel free to reccomend different sets for other cars too! Just make sure to mention what car they do and/or dont fit!

I want to keep the ion mt as it is as I dont have any instructions or anything to reassemble it if I were to take it apart and my memory is appalling so I wouldn't really remember where things go either which is why I reckon building a new one is a better idea. I realise they arent exactly cheap to get, just as cheap as possible would be great. Just not one that's like £600+

Hi everyone! Anyone who has seen my status or a different topic I posted would know that I am completely new to this hobby in every single way, shape and form. So with that being said, I have been advised by a few people now that building an rc car is really the best way to understand how they work and how all the individual pieces go together and so on. Now I have been told that tamiya is the way to go on this front so I'm wondering if you guys can help me. What tamiya would be best for a complete and utter rc beginner to get and build? Ideally a cheap one as I dont want to get something too pricey just to break some important part as lie I said before, I'm new to this and dont know what I'm doing! As I've put in my bio, I know nothing to do with rc but I know I want to take it up as a hobby. I have replaced a broken castor block on my ion mt but have since seen various issues that have occurred since then. I'll be in this forum quite regularly with questions about stupidly simple stuff to most of you guys but tricky stuff for me. So I hope you can be patient with me as I struggle to break into the world of rc but nevertheless, I am coming into it full force! So, I have owned the ion mt and dt for a bit now and they both work fine apart from this buzzing noise I keep hearing from both when I turn them on (video attached) and with the dt, it wont work altogether unless I tap the wires then it somehow kicks into to gear. For a few seconds anyway. With the mt, yesterday whilst using it, it just stopped going forwards altogether but would still go backwards. And now today after using it, it somehow is going both ways. I know I've mentioned a fair few things here but if anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated! 20201228_091631.mp4
