  1. Hi everyone! Anyone who has seen my status or a different topic I posted would know that I am completely new to this hobby in every single way, shape and form. So with that being said, I have been advised by a few people now that building an rc car is really the best way to understand how they work and how all the individual pieces go together and so on. Now I have been told that tamiya is the way to go on this front so I'm wondering if you guys can help me. What tamiya would be best for a complete and utter rc beginner to get and build? Ideally a cheap one as I dont want to get something too pricey just to break some important part as lie I said before, I'm new to this and dont know what I'm doing! Look forward to seeing what you guys have to say! Just attached the ion mt picture for fun. It's my first car that I'm properly starting to learn things with
  2. Hey guys,We started building the unforgettable German //now Classic cause it's from 2001// (OMG 19 years:D The project has already been started !!! Painting awaits!
  3. NOW SOLD ~ Decided to move on my Schumacher Mi6 touring car. I've started it on an auction at £89.99 including delivery although it did have a "Buy It Now" price of £129 odd but as someone has now bid that's unavailable. Will let the auction run it's course so if you're interested please do keep an eye on the bidding and have a bid. 👍 Some text from my advert; This 1/10th scale touring car by Schumacher is a very high end RC car designed for racing. Almost entirely carbon fibre and aluminium with a host of great features including sealed bearings, anti roll bars, oil filled shocks etc etc these sold new for over £300. Even today in spares alone this is a bargain buy. Overall in very good condition although it could do with a new body shell as it is well used. The car is fitted with purple titanium turnbuckles, decent tyres all round and is also currently fitted with a 70T spur gear so it's ready for electrics & then off to the track. Comes with original box, full instructions, servo horns and set up carbon fibre piece.
  4. Hello everyone, My name is Skylar. I'm new to the scene with this stuff and have purchased/have had for a few months now the tamiya tt02 subaru monte carlo full set up from modelsport as a feeler to see if I'd get into this thing. I'm from illinois but live in the UK due to marrying a Brit. I love cars and have owned many in my 30 years of existence and I have recently bought shells for different makes/running gear that I will adapt to work on mine. Further I am searching for a shell like attached I know it's a Carson and believe the reference number is C13230. I have posted on here in the buying page as well about it. Long story short but told on the other post is wife's dad has 2 cancers he's battling and has an 04 jag s type I'm trying to create one for him. Thank you all for your time and support in the future. Skylar
