  1. Yes and now tempted to get the Injora ESC so i can use a HotRC right handed radio with it
  2. Pleasantly surprised by the Hi trail F-150, it drives nicer than i hoped, has limitations but its not at all bad, video coming to a screen near you today some time, it drives quite different to the FCX24 but again its a nice drive
  3. @steephill you nailed the tyre/ride height on the now not so Hi trail , looks spot on, when SGB did the low trail i told him to patent it otherwise traxxarse will claim they invented it
  4. This mod is now finished and will mak a lot more sense, i tend to film my cars and the Traxxas TX does not lend its self to one handed driving.....until now
  5. Rock van trying out the new wheels and tyres
  6. Looking good stormsy mate just weighed my F-150 and she is 549g this is before i fit the metal gears in transmission
  7. Im very lucky i have a fantastic understanding wife and a decent income to fund my hobby, though i tend to be careful what i spend
  8. Been busy so THE most expensive 1/8 brushed crawler does not have even a hint of grease in the rear axle, and oddly just one rear shock had a preload spacer not the other ! Had the rear axle out and rather than heavy grease i have oiled the internals, better than dry, i have moved the esc/rear shock towers forward to lay the rear shocks down a little (free mod) stripped rear shocks, lubed with green slime grease and fitted a pair of 1mm Orings under each piston all back together and this has had the desired lowering by a couple of mm and fitted high clearance stainless links to rear, still got front to do. I also took tyres of and fitted 60cm of thin solder to each wheel hub, then taped it down, can only help
  9. It looks excellent and im sure it will drive fine but if im brutally honest its not worth the price tag, this is one of the most expensive brushed 1/18th models on the market and i would say its about £60 over priced, but it is licenced by FORD
  10. TRX4m, so i have finally bought a Traxxarse
  11. My Brown one has arrived all seems good so far, it all works and looks nice and scale, already done a little mod, and the front sticker seems pretty straight
  12. looks good, would like to try my Unitrak on it once i have it built and sorted
  13. Nice mate, bit of a rare find and nice looking truck
  14. I do know the Unitrak body is fixed to chassis where as the rock van has a front hinge set up, maybe there are little mount tabs on the unitrak chassis to screw body down as the lipo sits in a tiny box up top behind cab, i do plan to fit a larger box and may end up running a pair of lipo`s in parallel for long run times
  15. I went with SCX24 45mm shocks, seem to remember people on the FB group suggesting them
  16. Not sure but when my Unitrak kit arrives i should be able to answer that for you as i have the rock van the Unitrak kit should be here Tuesday
  17. @Gaz!, you should of got an FMS Chevy lol................ Please can you tell me where you got the side decals for the body they look pretty darn good, but traxxas get a bad mark for the lop sided F O R D sticker on the front of the hood....oops bonnet, if mine is like that it will rattle my OCD
  18. Some swag from Injora....yes i know what i said a while back but i guess they just have the stuff and it arrives fast this is the hop up parts for the Traxxas hi trail 4m F-150, stainless links, 180 48t motor and metal gears at -32% ratio....second order should be here in a couple of days parts for the new build T-Hunter Unitrak kit
  19. last chance before i pull the listing
  20. with drawing this for now, figured if it were to sell it would be gone long time ago
  21. Overdriving the front can be a good asset on a crawler, by underdriving the rear and overdtiving the front this creates a larger over drive ratio, could work very well, the Element enduro models come with 5% front O/D but the parts are supplied to change it to 11% front O/D
  22. coming on well, a sfor body if it were me i would do Jconcepts 51 ford grandma van, i might keep my carisma and do a new same body for that
