  1. It's specific in the 313mm 'claim' so better damn well be! It was the only 2 door I could find in that wheelbase so could be wrong I suppose but that's what's listed on the bay so presumably if it's incorrect i've a fair claim to a refund! We'll see when it turns, hopefully before Christmas😬
  2. Ordered this one last night; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313mm-Army-Open-Door-Car-Body-Shell-Parts-for-Wrangler-1-10-Jeep-SCX10-RC-Truck/383058186976?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I've been following flex, rocks and rollovers on Insta, some amazing trucks on there feed. (Hope you can see that). We'll practice on the one I bought last night and see how the quality is; might try my hand at brazing again! Last few attempts weren't great I have to admit!
  3. Thanks, just finalising the purchase. Unfortunately (for me) he's told me he wants to do the whole 'build' by himself:( I may have to get two!!
  4. You're going to love those tyres👍 On the body, is that the 313mm hard top just chopped with a seperate roll cage fitted? My son's desperate for a Wrangler!
  5. Looks great [emoji106] Think the td5 came out in 98 though? I've been looking for a 1:1 for ages but they're all mega money [emoji1787] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  6. Sore fingers @.AJ. !!? Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  7. You can still get some wheel speed out of a 'c' channel but a tuber would be better, albeit undoubtedly more expensive. AliExpress has some good clone options Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  8. Welcome [emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  9. I've never run a fan on a motor before so can't help there sorry. Perhaps get a temperature probe and check after 10 mins?
  10. No idea but it's the right size and good turn count for your needs. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  11. I was wrong, those are 90mm and 100mm I think. I used #5862 in mine which are 85mm on the front and 100mm in the rear. I made a small plate for the rear and the fronts were perfect fit. Two pictures so you can see the ride height with the #5862 shocks. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  12. Pretty sure it's these Steve; i'll measure tonight and let you know for sure. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Traxxas-Rustler-Slash-XL-5-VXL-Complete-set-Ultra-Shocks-Front-Rear-w-screws/283307294444?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  13. It's either that (SCX) now or a winter self build project. Toying with the idea of a 3d printer so can fab my own bits....
  14. Looks great @Steve Wharton, very nice touches. Driveshaft? If you need it to handle better then Traxxas big bores work a treat, are reatively cheap and are so smooth; night and day difference👍
  15. Scrap that, can buy a 1/10 for the price of a Kyosho mini!!!! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  16. Not really that much @Rubblechops. Post a link with what you're thinking of getting;)
  17. Watched that one earlier in the video section; looks good
  18. I'm going to wait at least another day!:
  19. Dont think so, unless one side is 90 degrees to t'other. You can just use 2x 4mm link ends and some 4mm threaded rod between them though;) Might require a little trimming of the link ends to shorten them but it's what you're after I think.
  20. Brilliant; you've got enough power there for a weekend!👍
  21. Think I might take a look at raising the rear upper links up above the axle; there's lots of 3D stuff available so will venture that way shortly as it should be inexpensive. Can't do a great deal at the front as the uppers would rub on the drive shaft. Going to have to see about flipping the axle; might help but will probably try the rears first given it's going to be way easier! Thanks for your input Gents, appreciated.
