    Can anyone help??

     

    i’m looking for a set of crimping pliers to do the servo/esc/receiver connectors but i cant seem to find anything specific, the ones ive seen on eBay are a bit vague, the ones i have are only for the blue yellow and red automotive types.

      The boom racing one looks excellent. The wobbly wheels on this carisma are awful. 

       

      Plus carisma have a bad reputation for poor quality control i.e. wonky stickers

       

      It's a no from me.

      I don't know why people have to point out stuff like this. If you don't like Traxxas and you don't want to buy one then you should be able to say so without fear of being shouted down.

       

      I for one would never buy a Cragsman RC and if there was a thread on here about them, I would have no issue saying so and should be able to without fear of reprisal.

       

      Keep your chin up Jack and keep posting whatever you like, it's your money and you shouldn't have to defend yourself just because you don't want to buy a Traxxas.

      I still have the Hyper ST Pro. The Kraton is gone.

      I used my dusty motors cover once. It did keep the dirt out, but also kept the heat in.

       

      Cleaning is not a big deal.

      Tony from ccxrc has really beaten on his. 

       

      My observations are that it appears to break axle housings for fun, although there is a carbon brace that seems to sort it.

       

      Tony from ccxrc and rcsparks have both mentioned that it pulls to one side on throttle. 

       

      It still looks pretty amazing though.

    Anyone here got experience with GMade stuff? Looking at the new GS02F Buffalo civilian, in the videos it looks pretty cool - have zero experience with GMade though. Any pointers?

      I bought a GMade GS02 BOM from @.AJ. a few years ago.

       

      It's my favourite crawler. Really good quality. I cannot fault it. The GS02F has an improved transmission design and more flexible battery tray options.

       

      I'd have no problem recommending it

      EU'll not need to worry about this in a few weeks. It's a much simpler system, fees from everywhere.

      I don't see what difference it makes. It all comes from China regardless of the warehouse you choose. The European warehouses I've chosen have taken just as long to get to the UK as choosing China.

    What's a reasonable time to wait before contacting an Ebay seller about not receiving an item? Delivery was expected to be the 14th Nov but not had anything yet. Shall I give it till Saturday as that's one week over or should I wait a bit longer?

      A week is reasonable. I had an item recently that didn't show up. I contacted the eBay seller after a week and the replacement arrived today.

    Anyone know how to change the search function on MS (the model shop not this forum) so it goes back to the old list style with the filter tab on the left, instead of a grid style? Mine seems to have changed and I am not finding the option anywhere!

      The lack of filters is a pain. If you know exactly what you are after then it works quite well. I would often filter by price, brand, in stock etc.... The filtering on wheelspin search results is probably the kind of thing they should implement.
