  1. Try his Facebook https://www.facebook.com/sharkfatrccustoms
  2. It just needs a turret on top to finish off the look.
  3. They are a pretty old school hobby shop. They seem to do more static models and toys than RC. I went a few years ago to get some spares as they had them in stock on their website. Upon arrival I asked for the parts, they fished around in a few icecream tubs and said that they didn't have them. I haven't been there since.
  4. Try this info from their Facebook
  5. For sale is a Crawler Chassis, Axles, Transmission, Transfer Case and Motor. This is a real Frankenstein's monter. It seems to be in the style of a Gelande II but is almost not original RC4WD. This is really sold as a project/spares/repair/wall art? Look at the pictures to see what you get. The motor is 20T, I do not know if it works. The wheels are beadlocks, they look like they could have been from a Vaterra Ascender possibly. All of the various gears feel smooth enough, but I have not run power through this, so it might come undone when pushed. Taking into account the condition I am looking for £40 including postage + PayPal fees. If you are interested but think the price is way off, drop me a PM.
  6. For sale is my WPL C34KM 1/16 Metal Edition Kit 4WD. This bought as a kit and built as a lockdown project. It has done few laps of the garden on grass and then been put away. The condition can be seen in the pictures. This is the metal edition so has all metal diffs, axles and driveshafts. In addition I have updates the motor mount and transmission to metal. The motor has been upgraded to a Chihai GM-25 12 V 2000 rpm motor for bit more oomph. The tires are not glued as I was not sure if I was going to fit wheel weights. Wheel weights are included should you want to fit them. The basic light kit is also installed. There is a 20A esc included which I did use briefly with the vehicle. As pictured there are a few extra bits included. This includes the stock motor and another of the uprated motors. You will need to supply your own receiver, transmitter and batteries. I am looking for £50 including postage + PayPal fees.
  7. For sale is my lightly used Absima AB3.4. I bought this as a kit last year as a holiday project. It has been ran twice on dry grass and gravel. The condition can be seen in the pictures. It is a roller, so you will need to provide your own electronics. The shocks are full of oil with no leaks and the diffs are smooth and operating as they should. I built it with bearings. It also includes the front metal skid plate. There is an alloy rear shock tower and alternative wing mounts should you want to fit them. I am looking for £55 including postage + PayPal fees.
  8. You should check out this guys YouTube. He does speed runs with a wide range of models. You might find something you like. https://youtube.com/c/KaizerTest
  9. Be careful where you buy these from. The rcmaniacs guy has gone AWOL with a fair amount of money. Lots of angry people on Facebook
  10. If you look at the sold ones on eBay there are quite a few selling in the £700-850 range. I've even seen X-Maxx 8S with a Max5 go for £500 on there.
  11. I think they are variations of wheels, tires and bodies. Other than that they are much the same.
  12. Very odd. My first thought was possibly condensation somewhere inside the controller but that doesn't seem that likely. I did find this on Youtube, the OP does mention how he fixed it in the comments. Hopefully it helps you.
  13. One of the forum guidelines is not consistently enforced in my opinion: No swearing, or 'censored' swearing.
  14. I've never heard good things about the Hyper SSE range. You're better off looking at the Hyper VSE. I have one and can vouch for the build quality.
  15. This guy on eBay does some really nice 7075 upgrades for the Hyper VSE https://ebay.co.uk/usr/amber3949
  16. I was unaware that I had started painting RC bodies.
  17. Also follow these tips Lipo fires are no joke, a member on this very forum found out recently.
