  1. yes, it was bugging me but i got it set up ok now. just need some free time and good weather to run it :D
  2. Its fine I got it fixed a while ago now. The arm on the carb needed rotating round so the arm was in the same position as the carb opening. It had been turned round another 45 degrees or so. 🙂
  3. this should be in the news section Yes Yes already pre ordered mine No Nitro No I believe the original nitro USA-1 was a buggy with monster truck wheel and they just made the body high up. This one is based on the Mad Crusher / FOXX 2.0, but with a few updates. Dont think it will be as strong as the LMT, but for me the nitro is what makes this one stand out.
  4. the wiring police will be on your case!
  5. I am looking for the part circled in red. Unfortunately this part only comes with a whole gearbox casing which is a bit of a waste as i only need this part really.
  6. If you get the part numbers for all the screws you should be able to find out what size and length they all are then buy them yourself for somewhere that sells just screws like kaysfasteners.
  7. The d8 with such a high end combo might be able to fetch about the same as a new vorza. Around £500 As for the mini nitro, I've got no idea but its very interesting! Let me know when you've worked out a price for it.

works out at £485 i think! i'll wait till they come to the UK, not going to import one from japan. The body detail is amazing. It would have to be shelf queen body and i'd get a different one for running.

I cannot wait to see what else they are going to re release.

  8. i'm sure they make the wings out of different plastic now, my first wing lasted a good 2-3 years of bashing. now they seem to last 2-3 packs :(
  9. This is why you don't jump on ready to rebuild and replace electronics when they come out. Much better with sway bars included.
  10. Not sure never had either. I wouldn't think either of them are anything amazing. They are both fairly cheap rtr engines. For the price you might be able to get a used race engine, but its always a risk. You also need a starter box as well Something like this would be a nice upgrade if you can find another one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alpha-21-Club-Racer-CP-Nitro-Engine-Pipe-Combo-Boxed-/373516381547?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
  11. You could just get a force .21. They are cheap enough and should work fine.
  12. The problem is if you only use 4 you can bend the tower as its designed to have even load either side. You would probably need an aluminium or carbon fibre tower like most buggy's and truggys have.
  13. XS SS finally got a proper body few weeks ago :D
  14. i would look at what exocaged RC's build. his seems to hold up pretty well for what he does.
  15. i've been watching staphaneZ for a while. his videos are some of the best. nobody gets anyway near him when it comes to stunts.
  16. yes, a few on mine were pretty bad, but not completely stripped.
  17. Yeah I was thinking it would be over £10,000. £6,000 doesn't even seem too bad. A 1/5th scale can cost near this.
  18. All these trucks that are more scale will twist and they are all fragile and not the easiest to work on. There is no getting around that really unless you are willing to spend the cost of the car upgrading them.
  19. want engine sound? step 1 buy a nitro
  20. They just seem to die randomly. I had mine in my mt410 with a reds 1900kv buggy motor. ran 4s fine, ran 6s twice then it died. Made a video on it and loads of other people had the same problem even in 4s truggies and buggies.
  21. I think they work fine and all the internals were ok, just the outside hadn't been finished. Its good that they are selling them and not being scrapped or melted down, but it would be nice of the sellers mentioned it was made from the parts bin.
  22. The motor is fine up to 80c so it might feel pretty hot even if its within reasonable limits. I would recommend getting a small clip on heatsink and fan as a rally car isn't going to be jumped like a basher, so its unlikely to come off or break. The air in the shell won't be anywhere near 80c so it will still cool down the motor effectively.
  23. I think some guy had loads of issues with the sky rc ESC. I have had a hobbywing xr8 plus and that wasn't very good either. The most reliable sensored escs I've had were the hobbyking x car 150a and the tekin rx8 gen3. The hobbyking one is really cheap and the tekin is mega expensive, but I got the tekin used.
  24. Yes that is correct, these last few have just been put together from parts they had lying around. Some are not finished as NovaRossi shut down about a year ago. I've seen a few people get the same thing with the last few 28-8 and other engines. Some don't have the engraving in the block as well.
