  1. I’m guessing it’s the flux with you asking in the electric section, they use a mod 1 3mm (3.17mm actually) bore pinion. I’m not sure what the pitch of that is in imperial terms though sorry edit, wrote this before your last reply popped up
  2. I think it’s to do with how many teeth there are per mm, a mod 1 gear would have 1 tooth every mm. i may be wrong though
  3. New charger, very surprised at how small it is for the power it has. Just need to sort a power supply out now
  4. I have just bought a quicrun from rcmart, hopefully they are all genuine from there with them being a main vendor. The esc had a strange smell to it, almost like it had already smoked but apparently it’s something to do with the waterproofing process. The SC8 I got from AliExpress has the same smell too, whether or not that’s a sign it’s made in the same factory or not i have never ever had a single problem with a Hobbywing esc, let’s hope they don’t start now
  5. Never mind they are out of stock there now
  6. I ordered a Losi 8 one from power hobby in the US for just shy of £10 shipped, they posted it on the 19th and it arrived yesterday the price on the U.K. ones is rediculus now
  7. Yeah I think there is a bit more, I was looking in to them and I think it’s pretty much the buggy chassis with the truggy front and rear end
  8. Looks like an awesome bit of kit, I saw it in the fs section and was tempted myself just buy some truggy arms and you have got yourself an MT410
  9. How do you check if it’s a fake or not? I’ll check mine for we know or not whether they seller has fakes or genuine Thanks for letting me know bud, sorry about the delay, again
  10. The sc8 is only about £37 on AliExpress, mine only took a week to get here
  11. Nope, strange its only £36 on AliExpress
  12. http://Look what I found on AliExpress http://s.aliexpress.com/Z3yMNN7n see if this one works
  13. There is an ISDT 500w 20A charger for a great price on AliExpress if you don’t mind waiting a couple of weeks? Doesn’t come with any leads from what I can tell though, will need a power supply for this one also ISDT SC-620 i ordered red one last week and it’s currently in transit
  14. Also when your chopping the old connectors be sure to cut and solder them one at a time to avoid shorting
  15. Just to throw a spanner in the works.....I prefer bullets myself, 5.5mm on the 1/10-1/8 scale stuff and 8mm on the 1/5ths. really easy to solder, can just use a mini blowtorch lighter if needs be and very reliable as there is no plastic or anything to melt/break
  16. You can get the X-Maxx off rcmart for less than £800 shipped I think, great shipping times as well, usually 3-5 days from Hong Kong and no import fees
  17. There are plenty of cheaper batteries out there, they don’t have to be from wheelspin. The 4s gens ace 6750mah packs are only around £85 each
  18. Please close, I have found them
  19. Not sure what to call these really but has anyone got the two little black pieces lying around anywhere? They slot in to the upper CNC plate and align the inner/upper hinge pins in place.....I have somehow lost the ones I had Cheers, David
  20. I did the same yesterday charged up some new 4s lipos off HobbyKing and decided that the 7 year old iMax B6 was pants and ordered a new ISDT SC-620 off AliExpress
  21. Fake castle 1518? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F252519501168 alternatively you could use a mini blowtorch lighter to solder the bullets on another motor, that’s how I do them and I have a soldering iron as well
  22. Well, as long as it works ok then it’s all good, it just shocked me when I opened up the box
