  1. If it’s constantly on the same side (left I think usually) then it’s because they like to loosen themselves because of the way the wheel spins, Hobao sell some CNC hexes/nuts with left and right thread, get a set of them and it should be good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Generally if the wires are flexible then they can be chopped and resoldered, if they are the thick copper wires then they can’t be chopped.....not sure if it’s due to the flow of electricity etc or if it’s due to the wires being a pig to resolder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Now I come to think of it, I used the newer version on my hyper 7MT build and on the first outing one of the front inner screws ripped out.....not sure if that was down to me using the wrong length screw on the rebuild but it is a potential problem.   5. The newer version is much more convenient for maintenance etc but in my opinion it will never be as strong as a nut and bolt going straight through. Also I’m not sure what it means for the CNC hinge pin braces that have a hole in the front one and a threaded hole in the rear one.....can a bolt still pass through the new ones?   6. 3 of them are my brothers and his two kids and the other one is my other nephews, they were last run about 5 years ago on the beach and weren’t cleaned or maintained at all so are in very poor condition......might be able to get two decent ones out of them hopefully [emoji23] 3 were factory brushless and one was brushed converted to brushless. The one brushed one was actually maintained alright and is possibly good to go but the others were trashed by my brother and his kids and are held together with duct tape and cable ties [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

  9. A tamiya lunchbox or midnight pumpkin is perfect for the younger ones in my opinion, on the stock brushed motor they are plenty fast enough and don’t break too easily Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes from what I remember it is just the body that causes it, it can be helped by putting some vent holes in certain places to allow the air to flow through but I ended up going the complete opposite with it and getting the longer Hyper ST arms and a shorter Hyper 7 chassis to make it an MT. Only used it once and it’s been sat in the man cave for 2 years or so gathering dust Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. That is correct about them style motors but the brushless carnage comes with them too. Ideally a true 540 would be nice but that one you have there should do just fine as long as it’s geared correctly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Why what’s wrong with it? KV might be a little higher than I’d want for a carnage but that can be compensated for by fitting a smaller pinion

  22. I have just been rebuilding mine, it’s been in a box in bits for about 5 years [emoji23] I went with 3k front and 7k rear I think.....still had the standard grease in them so either way it will be an improvement Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m no “Covidiot” as they say, not will I go and protest about wearing masks as I think that’s just down right silly.....I do however think that this whole COVID thing is a load of rubbish that the media and government has blown way out of proportion.
