bought my kids a WLtoys A959, hopefully they will enjoy it, its probably going to end up in total carnage, but you've gotta encourage the next generation of bashers right? 😂

Hey guys 🙂 ,
it's been a few years, But I've got the urge to build a 1/8th kit, i'm looking at something in stock in the uk, top of the list is a tlr 8ight-XE, any thoughts on an alternative option?, not fussed on a truggy or buggy, must be a kit as i enjoy the build.
-
@Scoobie007 - was just about to text you but my phones decided to do an update.
@ostewart is selling some very nice electrics for a 1/8 kit if you get one, might do you a bit of a deal as a package.

finished the losi 4.0 build this eve, was feeling chuffed until i went to fit my battery, just that smidge too big
-
Any insider information where i might be able to grab an axial rr10 bomber kit? im a bit late to the party, but i really fancy a punt on one, tower hobbies have them, but i was looking for one a little closer
-
Axial kits are hens teeth at the moment
I've heard it's supply chain issues while they move their manufacturer or something?
When I looked a month or so ago, I could find RTR in Europe but kits I could only find from the states.
Same with the SCX10 II kit, ended up trying an Outlaw as a budget Yeti alternative instead

10 days and still no diff/shock oils hurry up, im itching to get this kit built
-
think ive managed to crack this soldering malarkey, its not the neatest, but its solid
-
so, thats me back on the RC wagon, Losi 8ight 4.0 kit on its way
-
so after an 8 month hiatus, im returning back to the darkside :-), overclocking cpus has me bored, got an 'itch' for a vorza, but oho keeps telling me NO lol, im not looking for a kit builld, just something out of the box 'rtr', got my eyes on either a losi mini 8ight, the hpi trophy buggy, or the losi 8ight-E rtr.

so, after selling some goods on fleabay, i check my paypal acount to find all the funds are pending, apparently, if there are no issues with my goods, i will receive the funds in 21 days, paypal go on further to explain this helps create a safe selling environment, i could ubderstand if my account was new, but ive been using ebay for about 8 years, and ive got 100% feedback out of over 400 transactions, anyone else has this happen recently? is it a new thing thats been introduced or just a random event?

Gelande 2 D90 kit all built and fully operational, really enjoyed the build, spent some cracking time with the kids driving it over a home made crawling course :-)

If my ebay goes to plan I'm going to flip a coin on getting the mini glande I'm not sure yet tho. All I know right now is it's cutie build from all metal and my youngest would love it with my eldest using the scx10.
Ofcourse I'll enjoy them for the tinkering but going slow isn't for me really but I love messing about with them.
Also a condition of the coin flip will be price I think around 200 right now. Probably be in for a shock tho.

Gelande 2 has finally cleared customs after 'awaiting clearance' for the past 14 days, fees paid, so fingers crossed for a tomorrow delivery, although its very doubtful lol.

i did think about it, but its nearly a 100 mile round trip to where its currently sat, so i paid the fee's online as soon as the bill dropped this morning, the trackings updated to 'delivery scheduled' so super optimistically hoping for delivery tomorrow, despite it being a saturday, if not i expect it will be tuesday, just intime for me to have to leave it for a week as im away with work
-
jesus, building a 'scaler' is more expensive than running a 1/5th, im like a kid in an expensive sweet shop!

spent 8 hours on the thames yesterday renewing my 'fast rescue boat ticket', on the plus side it was next door to the metropolitan police anti terrorism training centre, spent hours watching them storm mocked up city streets and banks using helicopters and armoured vehicles, most of them looked like they knew what they were doing, they must get sacked after the pass :-/
-
everyone should own an scx10 just once, its fast becoming my 'go to' rc :-)
-
new scx10 deadbolt, new yeti springs arrived from rcmart AND my ms back order arrived, all in all a good day :-)
-
had a blast with the yeti today, well, until the spur let go
-
6400 mah 3s on charge, gonna see what this yeti is all about tomorrow.
-
The yeti kit has landed, ordered friday afternoon, delivered today at lunchtime, not bad from germany, shame i have to wait til i get home tomorrow.
-
Axial yeti kit on its way, first ever kit build, wish me luck :-/
-
