Another nice rainbow trout caught today. Again, with my Mepps Anglia no. 3. I am really starting to like this spinner!

Nice 3.5lb Rainbow Trout caught, with my brand new Mepps spinner, this evening!
Added bonus... last time out, I lost a brown toby, when it got lodged in some reeds, forcing me to cut the line. Today, my hooked fish swam into the reeds, thrashed around, and when I got it into the landing net, my toby had caught on the trout's flanks, so I got my old lure back! Result!
I love fishing

Another keen angler right here! I've fished for everything over the years, but I've mainly been a carp angler since the late 70's.
Im in France trying to catch some carp at the moment... However, the lake is kicking our buts right now.... They run to a lake record 95lb in here, with a good few 70's too... Chance of a whacker!
At present it Feels more like camping than fishing though!

OHO, I always catch to eat. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't catch and release, since I use bait lures (spinners, tobys, spoons etc), which cause more damage and get more "hooked" than fly fishing. I don't know anywhere that allows bait fishing to catch and release?
Carpmart, you need to take a photo, if you catch a monster!
-
Might very well get some then and give it a whirl, I'm really keen on getting a bit more fish into my diet to be honest, I've been doing reasonably well lately but main mackeral cod and haddock, wouldn't mind trying a few more variations to be honest.
Cheers for the feedback chaps.
As for different ways to fish, I didn't have a clue mate about the amount of damage caused or how it hooks etc.... I'm certainly no angler I used to enjoy it as a kid, but not really been into it since I was about 10 lol.

Ahh... whisky.

Ordered a fishing lure... received a gnome!

RIP, Ronnie Corbett The Two Ronnies are now splitting sides, in the afterlife!

Basher Pitbull is fantastic! Had a proper laugh filming an unboxing and running video, with the brother-in-law, as well. Brilliant fun. Rendering now, but my ancient pc takes ages

Basher Pitbull 1/18 brushless Desert Truck RTR are finally back in stock, chaps. £28!!! Get them, while they're hot!!

Had both big toenails removed today, anaesthetic wearing off... here comes the pain!!

Spent much of the day stripping-down, cleaning and rebuilding a Hong Nor X1 CR Pro Buggy, that was traded in cheap and in a mess to Tay Models. Just as a favour to Alun, the owner.
I swore off nitros, years ago, because of the hassle, but... man, this thing is a beast! Fires up instantly, on the first pull and seems really eager to go on just a blip of the throttle. In two minds, now!

Footage from a quad, flown through a fireworks display. Great footage. http://trendinghot.tv/this-guy-flew-his-drone-through-fireworks-what-he-filmed-will-take-your-breath-away/

Just to let you know... Anki Overdrive is awesome!!
-
That's cool, I saw something like this it's rc or scaletrix I forget what it was called. Is this the final version of that or is ther two brands?
I think I liked the first one I saw more more scale looking cars I think.
Could be an easy special Xmas gift for next year tho. Provided cost's line up with wii u ect.
I brought a top level scaletrix set up tho and my daughter quickly got bored of it.
-
This is the second version, after Anki Drive. Anything else would be a different brand, I would think.
If it was scale looking cars, then it won't have been Anki Drive/Overdrive, as they both have the generic supercar looks.
It's great for multiple players, single player is slightly dull, but two or more is an absolute riot!

Made a complete ass of painting a body shell for the first time... forgot to mask the windows!!
Only the first, small coat. Any way of removing the paint, or is it new body shell time??

I screwed up my daughters barbie jeep. The jeep has a cab usually a different colour to the body.
I was trying to get the roof line nice and straight so much I totally forgot to mask the cab sides and rear.
So it's a pink body with white body kit and roof but looks very odd at the back. Totally gutted when I snapped the first finished pic and realised.

Sad state of affairs, the offshore oil & gas industry. Might have to give up my job, completely, and consider a different career path. Been after this job since I was a little boy. So many people have lost their jobs. Ships sold, dry-docked, scrapped. It's never been this bad.
What really hit home and (I'm not afraid to admit it) made me tear up, was this photograph of my all-time favourite ship, the mighty Ramform Challenger, sitting in-port... Crew-less. Empty. Silent. Unloved.
Such a shame.

Applied for a job doing post-mortem dissections in a veterinary disease surveillance centre laboratory. Investigating how to overcome diseases in livestock etc. Not nearly as adventurous, or fun as sailing the oceans, doing marine mammal conservation, but beggars can't be choosers.
Noj, of course. Especially considering that, on most vessels, the title of "Captain" is, in fact, "Master". So you would be Master Noj! You could wear a cloak, too...
OHO, coffee is good! Drink up!
Mini-z-awd, I feel for him. It's a tough situation.

'Tis a sad day. I had to retire the best motor I've ever owned: my specially-selected, Trinity Revenge of the Monster Pro, which I've ran for 12 years; starting out in the stock 27t brushed class and then in the amateur fun club I run amongst friends. She's been skimmed and rebrushed dozens of times and served me so well, but now, there is no metal left on the commutator to do any more. After many race wins and even more good memories, I have laid her to rest.

Stick it on the rc shelf as a trophie in its own right. We only need a tiny excuse to hoard anything rc or could use for rc items lol. But sounds like that motor truly deserves a spot on the shelf.
I had a trinity revo exhaust and it was the best I used out of 7 pipes. Only matched by a clone version i got later. Only exhaust I've seen with variable stinger on nitro.
I think bajas have something end bleed tho if that's the same thing.

AJ, has your speed car thread disappeared?

My God, I love AC/DC!! \m/

AJ, she's finally finished.

Castle Neu motor finall arrived for the Exotek Mini 8ight T. Only thing is, the motor shaft is extremely long and has no flat surface for mounting the pinion grub-screw onto! I have no choice, but I'm pretty worried about taking a dremel to a £115 motor!!
-
Neu Castle 1110/1y arrived... kind of...

AAAAHHHH!!! Noj, what has happened to your display pic!?!? I don't like change!!!
