Hi and welcome to the forum Rich. I have previously used the Stanley galvanised toolbox https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stanley-195620-Galvanised-Toolbox-26-inch/dp/B002SHPSLY/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2ZP2BJ5353JE&dchild=1&keywords=stanley%2Btool%2Bbox&qid=1632512697&qsid=259-6342075-3875247&sprefix=Stanley%2Btool%2Caps%2C182&sr=8-4&sres=B06XCBPFRN%2CB002SHA166%2CB000Y8W8IA%2CB001IBFEZQ%2CB06XCP1XFP%2CB005VC6ZD8%2CB001SY4TOU%2CB00EAOXK5O%2CB004124YJG%2CB0051HE79C%2CB0001IWAS6%2CB007FHBT7Y%2CB00AFAIX3Q%2CB000WCB57S%2CB00CTMF3FY%2CB001SY2QTA%2CB002STCCMU%2CB01B9KQ1P2%2CB00032HVFC%2CB002SHPSJQ&srpt=PORTABLE_TOOL_BOX&th=1 They do them in 2 or 3 different sizes, good for 1/10 tourers and buggy’s etc, worth a trip to B&Q or similar to set accurate internal size. You may have to ditch the tray if car is too high.

Hi and welcome to the forum, some nice looking trucks there in your collection
-
A new FS GT3C Transmitter with receiver plus 3 spare receivers for future use, got this for the CC-01 Defender 90 and hopefully will be good for other upcoming Tamiya builds / cars. Will likely need another one for Margaret / grandkids, so affordability came into my decision plus it as many decent reviews.

Front axles, C hubs & steering knuckles etc. disassembled to allow for clean-up following my mistakenly using thread lock on the steering knuckles which seized the steering up. That thread lock goes all over the place when you use to much, not that I should’ve used any. Note to self “must learn from this mistake”

CC-01 Defender 90 re-built at rear with YR four link conversion upgrade, also made a start on shocks but only got the rods done today, hopefully back on it tomorrow afternoon for a couple of hours.
-
Got the rear diff built and in the axle housing and on to the rear of the CC-01 I have actually got a YR rear four link conversion for this but having never built one of these before it seemed like a good idea to build the original to give myself a better understanding of where the upgrade should go and looking at the model and the YR instructions I’m pleased I did. Thats a job for tomorrow as I’ve been volunteered to cook tea tonight. So hopefully tomorrow rebuild rear end with YR kit and get shocks done.

Got back to the CC-01 build and found steering was seized, I guess I shouldn’t have used thread lock on the step screws 😟 All loosened off now, will come back to them later, now on with rear diffs
-
On with the CC-01 Defender 90 build front end lower ams, steering, uprights etc. all in place, so, on with the rear diffs after a spot of lunch and a bit of shopping.

My new Sparmax TC-620X compressor arrived today from Graphic Air. That orange cover is just waiting to have something airbrushed on to it.

Welcome to the forum Kol this is the place to be……..

I ordered Tamiya dampers & barrel springs from RCjaz in August for my CC-01 took a couple of weeks from date of order to me receiving them, tracking was supplied with plenty of tracking info, excellent price, arrived in good condition and would use again.
-
This Sparmax MAX-4 airbrush arrived yesterday and I’ve also got a new Sparmax compressor on the way, all from GraphicAIR.
-
I’ve had very little time for the last couple of weeks and only an hour today, I had previously had a problem with the CC-01 steering gear fouling on the gear sump, got this resolved today with steering links now in place and cover on, will hopefully have an extra day off work during the coming week and spend it on this build.
