Is that a repackaged car from one of the other Thunder Tiger brands?

I don’t think it Is, they are 1/12 scale and Team Associated already did their version (CR12).of that.

This to me looks new but could be wrong...?

Just had a look on rc10.com and this looks interesting out of the box.

A factory team kit would be really good......... ?

The over/under drive feature looks unique. Will have to see how it pans out. Looking for another truck to do a 1.55 or 1.9 4.2 wheel hardbody.

Over / under drive is also available on the Trx4 - extortionately priced options of course!

The TRX4 under/over is nothing special or unique, this new Associated trucks is however.

I think this looks like a great piece of kit and as long as the $350 price translates reasonably into pounds I’ll be picking one up for sure ??

Yup, I really like this rig, actually looks like some thought has gone into the design, rather than just copying or re-branding another truck.  Particularly like the BTA system, like the Venture FJ, just seems right straight out of the box (other than bumpers - that front one reminds me of Bubba's bottom lip in Forrest Gump...).

As always though, we'll pay for it good and proper over here - I reckon 350 GBP will be roughly where its at for the RTR.  Will keep my eyes peeled for a kit version with some of those rather tasty looking Factory Team upgrades B)

£309 on modelsport. If I could figure how to copy the link I'd post it up! 🤔

Yup, Bix drew my attention to that yesterday, after I spoke to MS on Monday, and the guy I spoke to hadn't even heard of Element RC...!!!  He then looked at his CML link and said it wasn't on there either so, no, they wouldn't be selling it 🙄

But glad they changed their minds..., think this is going to be popular.

Cheaper than most of the SCX10s and all of the TRX4s by a long shot. If SSD and Vanquish start supporting them it will be a winner.

Sadly though chap, cheaper not always means better.....

im wondering now though, all these new scale trucks coming out but still nothing can compare to the Trx4 (even on price too :tease:) my opinion of course.....

i was hoping the ho-bao scale truck would have taken off as it looked good in all the right places.

Cheaper rarely means better but while that TRX4 is good, I've not seen a TRX4 do anything 99% of other crawlers can't do, other than all of them blow out their servos :P

I’ve never blown a Traxxas servo yet, admitted I changed the steering servo from day one as I’d got a hi-tec 7955 ready for it.

its all about the endpoints, if I hadn’t sorted them before using then maybe I’d be in the same boat??

Dunno but can hardly blame one RTR servo for blowing out and no highlight all the others for not doing it. Back to the Enduro, it has the most powerful RTR servo apparently.

I just like the fact it looks a bit different, has some interesting features, and is clearly not a complete rip-off of somebody else's truck (Traxxas may feel differently, of course).  Particularly like the BTA setup and the overdrive front axle facility.  Reasonable shocks too, likewise the can, may not even feel the need to change those out at all.  Likewise the servo.  Like the body too.  Of course, it could be a complete flop, but from the running vids I've seen so far, I doubt it. Time will tell...
