    Vented tyres with closed wheels

    New motor mount

    Updated shocks

Spektum radio that works with the ttx300

New steering design that won't jam as easy with rocks

    Stronger front and rear chassis

    Improved slipper clutch

    Rubber sealed bearings.

So they cut a hole, in the chassis for stones added a few o rings on the shocks included the upgraded motor plate fixed the poor chassis well maybe don’t hold your breath on that one it is Arrma after all and chassis’s are not quite there strong point 😂.  Punch a hole in the tyres popped in a better spring for the slipper 🤷🏻‍♂️  Added a new shell

Yeah, as said above, these latest big increases by both Traxxas & Arrma have very little to do with either value of the pound or Covid, its simply a case of charging what they think people will pay.  I've said it before, but like a lot of consumer items, including RC got pretty cheap (relatively) for 15-20 odd years from late 90's/early 2000's.  I remember my dad paying around 110/120 quid for my Hornet with a battery, charger, Radio Gear etc at xmas 1985, from memory I think the kit itself was around 60-65 quid?  That's about 350 quid in todays money...

The pound has been floating around circa 1.20-1.30 (with odd little spike) for almost 4 years now.  How much was an Arrma three years ago?  Or an Xmaxx?

It's not what the pound is today, it's what the pound could be at a later date. No one has confidence in it so no company wants to be straddled with hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of a currency that could take a dive at any minute.  They jack the price up to cover themselves if tomorrow they wake up and BoJo and his disaster capitalist buddies decide it's a no deal. The pound will slump.

I kinda see where you're coming from, but if you believe all the doom mongers then the pound  and most other western currencies would have tanked many years ago.  And even if it did take a dive (which isn't impossible by any stretch), it wouldn't be unilateral - the usd, euro etc would slide as well.  Other countries, like the US, have their fair share of 'issues' to contend with too. No, IMO RC cars are getting more expensive over here again because the manufacturers/brands believe the market here can support those prices.  Nothing more complicated than that.  Greed / sound business sense - delete as appropriate.

business sell things at prices people are willing to pay. if they dont, then they dont sell. its as simple as that.  really.  when people stop buying things at the current prices then they would lower them. But they are sold out most of the time, people cant get enough :P

     Roll on the no deal.

Just imagine how much of that 750 Billion EU rescue fund would have been down to us, Sorry, But Italy and Spain are in line for the bulk share of £390 Billion  worth of Non-Repayable grants, And don't think the likes of France won't try to pilfer off there fair share, No one loves a subsidy more than the French.

Are people seriously saying they want to be part of that, The EU are all giving themselves high fives cos they come to this great agreement, Just wait till the EU taxation system that we kept blocking is passed and Brussels start Taxing countries on top of there own taxes to pay it all back, Cos it has to be payed back by someone,  And we should count ourselves lucky it's not gonna be us.
