Once again I ask, Is it just us over here who are so cynical, From reading, Most places other than here seem to get on with Integy, Yes, They make the odd poor bit, But in general, They seem to be liked.

Can't talk from experience as I have never had any Integy stuff, But it's a bit like Redcat, We look down on them as the cheap and cheerful, But they love them over the water.

I've had loads of Integy stuff in the past - basically I like bling on my trucks and they've delivered over the years.

Reading the Traxxas forum, they're just the same as us - some good / OK, and quite a lot 'not the best'.

It's possibly putting bling where it shouldn't be.

Many times there are parts where alloy gives the extra rigidity required - bulkheads, diff cases, wheel 'carriers' / hubs.

Many times it's not the best idea - shock mounts, arms, skid plates.

I've also had 'titanium' skid plates gouge and groove very easily, THEN RUST - as if Ti has been replaced by Al and Fe (respectively - gouge and rust).

My E-Maxx tumbled with quite nice-looking shock mounts - Integy - before I transferred from 27 M.Hz to 2.4 G.Hz. A radio glitch slammed on the anchors, it somersaulted (James / Yoodoo will remember this at Deeside) and the shock mounts folded.

I had MSR6 shocks on my LST2-spec Raminator and they were CRAP - nearly bled me dry of RC-budget getting more caps, O-rings .... kept coming to it with at least 2 of 4 shocks EMPTY - no oil! It now wears 'option' Losi threaded shocks - NEVER had a problem.

    I still have MSR8 shocks on my E-Maxx - brilliant - never a problem!!

MARMITE - much depends on selection of parts.

The problem is, or used to be, they just used the cheapest materials from the cheapest of places... So you never quite knew what you were buying.

For those who don't know this, they take a risk it's good... For those who do, it's up to them to gamble there cash.

I wouldn't personally buy Integy, just the name sounds tacky... And the products live up to the name.

Yh but us forums diss brands we like too. Hobbywing is one they see as junk. If they like integy tho i missed it. Everyone thinks integy is hit/miss. Like they just brand stuff brought to them so vary in quality.

I didnt diss it tho just thought integy threw ther upgrades together.

But when Hobbywing first hit the market, This forum saw them as junk, Nothing other than Castle would ever get recommended.

Oh yes, I remember it well.Pity , I have never seen an RC car do 6  miles on its roof .The one that stuck in my mind was the gulf FG when you clipped that curb...Oooo, I felt that.

Back to the subject,Intergy parts I have had were made from B Grade marzipan....completely bendy to say the least.

The F1 GTR Gulf 'graze' polished out, or most did - sold OK.

Was a beautiful beast, but just wasn't used - long time ago now!
