    From HB Racing:
Coming soon from HB Racing is the D418 1/10 scale 4WD electric buggy. HB designer Torrance Deguzman updated his innovative D413 design with new high performance features based on feedback from our top team drivers. New for the D418 is an aluminum chassis with raised side guards, similar to the successful 1/8 D817 buggy. HB’s trademark monocoque suspension arms now come in a harder material as standard equipment for precise suspension and handling response. The center bulkhead is now split for easier and quicker access to the center differential. The highly adjustable suspension now has revised suspension travel and shock length for improved performance. And, the D418 kit is now topped with a clear JConcepts 4WD buggy body and JConcepts wing. How does faster, stronger, and more adjustable sound? The D418 checks all of the boxes.

    • NEW JConcepts 4WD buggy body

I have noticed that for a short while they have reduced the price of the 2WD D216 version to £155, Which in this day and age is a good price for a nice looking buggy

I don’t know if that was just ModelSPort though. And they were sold out when last I looked. I couldn’t find them for sale else where in the UK either.

And I wonder if it was stock clearance. Wasn’t Hot Bodies previously an Hpi brand and now they aren’t or something.

Hot bodies racing was created and sold by hpi racing, but....

When hpi racing went into administration, hpi where purchased by ripmax without the hot bodies section of the company

So neidhart sa (swiss, maker of team orion electronics) bought hot bodies and called it HB racing, basically because they have deep pockets ( neidhart sa is owned by kyosho corp) and they had ifmar winners working for them.....they let the ex racers in the company design and run HB racing, hence why they now primarily focus on pro scale race rigs
