Hi all Well ive had mine a few days and have put it through its paces .................. luv it !!!!!!! flies great and if it gets dodgy a quick calibration sorts it and it takes a keychain cam without the casing no problem......... The dates iffy because i cant be bothered putting it right as a day later its wrong again hehe and my mic is dead Here are some flips out front the house This is my cam, if you do this make sure you selatape the lens to the case or it will wobble when filming4 points

Hello all, I am a new member and would like to say hello to everyone. I purchased my first monster truck a couple of months back and have been on the savage central site, unfortunately didn't seem to get many replies to my posts. This looks to be a lively interesting forum. Hopefully looking to gain knowledge about the savage, mods, find out about local areas to bash, share experiences and help out others.. Here's a photo of how she looked when I first got her.. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk 21 point

If you plane on staying with nitro def go twin 775 either the fastrax or smd but smd is better IMO. Lead acid batt will give more torque and last longer but x2 7.2v nimh will have more rpm or you could go 4s lipo with a LVC alarm more power and rpm.1 point

Nice tripple monitor set up I have just ordered a new 19" monitor so I can have a duel setup. I used to use a Amiga and run music x on it with a Yamaha A3000 sampler, but I agree not many people go the hardware route these days...but I like knobs, switches and pretty lights!!! I only recently last 3 years) started using a pc for my music since I was brought a decent interface (echo Layla 3G 16in/out) I still always turn off my monitor while listerning back to a track though- as you tend to stare at the blocks of audio files rather than actually listerning to the music. I try not to really use many plug-ins as It's so easy to spend 2 hours playing with a reverb or something and not get anything done! sometimes you can have to much...1 point

Update. Stripped the HPI of electrics to get it ready for sale and started to put things into the LWB YR4-J. Motor, servo and smaller 27mhz receiver in (not sure if the receiver works yet, was a freebie from my bro) so all I need to do now is ask Santa for some saddle lipos, a lipo charger and new ESC that copes with lipos. Also need to drill holes in the front bumper to mount the stealth front mount. For the time being ill have to use the compact RX7 YR-4 to do any skidding. It's awesome just feathering the throttle on a 15 double powered car. Didn't think it would work with such a high powered motor but the gearing seems just right if you're careful with it Anyway, pics More to come...1 point

Added the freshly-cut custom decals to my new boat, meaning that it is finally finished! Uploaded with ImageShack.us Thanks once again to Steviedee for doing an excellent job with the decals. He is truly a master of his art. Launch day is set for Friday, weather permitting. I will of course upload photos, and a video too if I can get my head around posting things to YouTube!1 point

lots of alloy on this truck.looking nice but i dont know how well witll the alu bumpers hold up in a bash session. The plastic hubs are just fine dont change them. For the tank get one monsterhopups.de protector because it is cheap and good. You can see how it looks on my truck above.I switched mine to the dual alu disk brake and i did notivce difference compared to the teflon one.You should also check the screws tha hold it in place because they will rip your clutchbell if they are a little loose.1 point
