Transmitter Batteries

Hi there, does anyone know where I can get real good quality Transmitter/Controller batteries. Mine are crap and last about 10mins, they are energizer, oh and by the way im wanting rechargable batteries. Could you please give a website aswell if applicable.

I have a transmitter with a removable AA battery tray and it would fit a 9.6v nicd square pack ( with Tamiya end) to ask as never done before, the red & black wires in transmitter (connected to battery tray) i take it i would just strip them back and connect them to a male tamiya connector and away i go goodbye 8 x AA.. is it really that simple???

imho Sanyo Eneloop AA Batteries are the best AA rechargables you can buy,

looses only 10% in one year on the shelf.

lasts absolute ages in my spekky.

all the transmitters i've had have been 12volt (8 x 1.5v )

most re-chargeable batteries are only 1.2volt (8 x 1.2 =9.6v)

my kill switch kicks in when my voltage drops below 10v

most failsafes come in at about 9v

doesnt leave a lot of scope on a fully charged rechargeable battery

i take advantage of the "buy one get one free" deals from local supermarkets for my AA batteries

i charged my batterues and I got 11.1v
