Upgrade throttle servo

Hi All

My first question of many no doubt:

Is there anything to be gained by upgrading the throttle servo from the plastic geared 1 supplied with the car to a metal geared 1? We've upgraded our steering servos, on our 2 Hypers, already which improved the handling loads and was just wondering if any gain would be made by doing the throttle 1's as well.

Thanks for any advice.

Paul

Thanks for the quick reply Smoothy :good: Would an upgraded servo also cut down on the slight servo twitching we currently get or is that a transmitter/receiver issue?

Thanks again

Paul

thats metal / radio interfearance. do you have 2.4Ghz radio or standard 27Mhz? 27Mhz will cause this more, 2.4Ghz will reduce this, if not eliminate it.

we have the 27Mhz that came with the car, will probably upgrade to 2.4 but having to do 2 of everything, for mine and my sons, this will have to wait a while. I went ahead and upgraded the servo anyway and also upgraded to a rechargable battery pack and an improvement has been noticed straight away :D
