  1. Cheers Bash that was it. Front diff changed and all okay dokes, did have the front diff apart a while back to change a broken part but have had it running since and all seemed ok, i.e. she ran ok, but now I've switched it around no locking up and wheels turn the way you would expect. Thanks for the heads up
  2. Yes the rear wheels turn, in the opposite direction to the front, also when I push when all 4 are touching the ground a loud clicking noise can be heard cheers Paul
  3. Hi All more help please With the engine not running, sometimes if I lift the rear up I can freely push my Hyper with the front wheels on the floor with no resistance and the same if I lift the front and push with just the rear on the ground but if I push with all 4 wheels on the ground all the wheels lock up and just drag across the floor. I haven't taken anything apart yet to inspect but was wondering if the centre diff is the best place to start the investigation, also on tick over she tries to pull away sometimes and was wondering if this is related or if this is a clutch problem as well as a diff problem. The free wheeling, or lack of it, when all 4 wheels are on the ground does come and go and isn't always the case so could it just need a grease up maybe? As always any help would be very gratefully received. Cheers Paul
  4. Collar checked and all nice and tight, ok you've convinced me thread lock shop here I come. Thanks again Paul
  5. Hi Badger, thank you for the speedy response, I've just taken the HSN out and can see the o ring you mentioned which looks fine but have to say doesn't sit at all proud so guessing this is the prob. Thanks for the heads up regarding the thread lock but don't have any to hand so do you think my initial idea just to make a 'tighter' thread fit will do the trick and not cause any damage? Thanks again for the help it's much appreciated Paul
  6. Hi All Haven't had much chance to run my Hyper for a while but gave it a little blast last weekend, very obviously needs a tune as she was running a little rough. While I was running I noticed a drop in performance and on closer inspection I noticed the HSN was virbrating and turning on it's own with the vibration of the engine, the HSN is very loose and there is none, or very little, resistance when screwing it in or out, is there anything I could do to stop this? I was thinking of maybe using some white plumbers tape, the kind you put on radiator joints, or something similar. Thanks for any help Paul
  7. Pos it was, seems to be charging ok Thanks again
  8. 2-0 to pos thanks again guys roll
  9. With thunderwolfs comment in mind does that indicate that the Tx is futaba then? Cheers
  10. Ok thanks guys that's 1 for pos & 1 neg it's a draw lol Thunderwolf the instructions say futaba is pos are you sure it's neg? don't really wanna melt our Tx's Cheers Roll
  11. Hi We've upgraded to rechargeable batteries for our 2 Hypers and have decided, obviously only if people think it worth while, to change to rechargeable 1's for the Tx's as well. Would anyone know the make of the transmitter supplied with the Hyper 7 as the charger we have for the cars will do the Tx as well but we need to know if they are Pos or Neg centre pin: Thanks for any help and advice as to whether it's worth using rechargeable batts in the transmitter Cheers roll
  12. Cool idea ant I'd be interested obv depending on ££'s Goold luck with the plan roll
  13. Hi, just an update I've checked all the above mentioned possibilities and have to say all look fine, U cups are all in the right place and correct 1's and no spacers, however when I stripped her down I noticed that the servo tray was bent and didn't lay flat so I'm guessing that I may have a slightly bent chassis not a mega problem as a new 1 is only
  14. Thanks for that guys I'll have a look at them but I can tell you, from memory as I'm at work at the mo, that the protruding T part of the shaft sits tightly in the cut out parts of the cup which would indicate that the cups are protruding too far forward as you suggest, hopefully they will just need repositioning. Thanks again for the speedy replies and help Paul
