I'm using a Hobbyking servo and it's great. Waterproof, plenty of torque and fairly fast. Been using it for a couple of months now with no issues. Can't go wrong for £15!

I use the Turnigy 1259 for most of my rcs to be honest there fantastic and only around £25

If you on a tight budget these are pretty good as well but might be a little weak for the steering

If you can stretch you budget though these are the nuts !!

Currently running one in my Hyper MTe and it's brilliant but might be a tad overkill for some lol :)

Had an idea (prob rubbish ?) Having a look around for some plastic tube that will fit in the shock bottoms. About 6mm OD and 4mm ID then hopefully can mod the stock shocks to fit 4mm shafts.

At the mo I can find a suitable one in brass which could work. Gives me something to do.

8 months or so on the LF20. I don't bash that hard (prob why it's lasted)  can't fault it in the Truggy, turns easy.

Just ordered 2 skyrc x8st 1700kv motors for my flux. Hopefully be decent enough on 6s ?

Thought to myself, @£35 each might
as well. My 1550 is fine I just wanted a little bit more speed ? without upping pinion creating more heat and using more amps.

Found some tube that could be fit for purpose. Just need to rig something to get a clean cut to make the plastic spacers for the bottom seals, cut the outer edge off the 4mm big bore seals so they fit in, then get a 4mm shaft of a suitable length. Be nice if it works

Yeah I should have been more specific my fault.

I mean the trophy flux not the nitro

Only downside with converting a nitro chassis is:

1. the servo saver is different, you'd need the orange steering bar, top plate & turnbuckles as it sits wider or drill new holes.

2. Need to drill & tap the chassis for the battery & receiver boxes.

3. Is shaped like an arrow so the side guards don't fit properly. It needs skimming down the sides with a grinder to make it straight. Hardly any off the front end to about 8mm off the back as you go down it.

4. Only 2 holes exist for the motor mount. Needs the third drilled or the mount can snap with a head on hit. Learned that the hard way and motor got damaged in the process.

My converted chassis (standard 6061 still the same in terms of holes etc)

Mainly demonstrates the side guard fitment against another nitro chassis, can also see batt box fitment & servo saver difference. Would be the same with 7075. Hope this helps

Nice one mate I fix trophy nitros regularly so have them about to convert to brushless but decided against doing so as I wanted a car thats easier to clean which isn't great with the stock chassis and the battery box doesn't fit as well to a modified chassis.
My trophy flux off ebay came modified with a Vorza bodyshell and velcro attached to aluminium panels that actually make the shell fit much better. I’ve added ansmann shocks and nanda block wheels which look great with the vorza shell.
I want any further modifications to make the chassis more rigid as it doesnt have some of the extra reinforcements that the trophy nitro is designed to have but has heavier components mounted closer together with more torque than the original nitro version.

Looks good

For now one of the things I would do is put one of these on the back of the front diff if you bash hardish, I snapped 3 plastics.

http://hpiracing.world/en/part/67384

Cheapest I can find at the mo:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HPI-VORZA-FLUX-HP-Front-Pivot-Block-Suspension-Arm-Hinge-Pin-Brace-/141907983909?hash=item210a5ffe25:g:ry8AAOSw5VFWLpza

and maybe a T bone at the front or DE bump skid and plate

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDEVF&P=7

http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDEVU&P=7

Direct fits.

Don't know what to do with those "anti bend rods" so called  on the buggy yet. :D

I think its important to have some weak points on the buggy and I feel that the suspension holders should be one of them especially since I have spares.

I don't even have a front bumper installed atm as I used it on a nitro I've put on ebay but I do prefer the stock bumper.
Skid plates add an extra layer to the bottom of the chassis and ultimately lead to more scraping so I'll give that a miss.

I've seen images of modified trophy truggys with a metal brace between the gear boxes but it seems silly adding a brace between 2 plastic gear boxes.
