300ZXZ31
damn noobs ow many times do i have to type this out. k&n filters are only desighned to stop dirt particles 10 microns and up, particles smaller than 10 microns wont damage a full scale engine but will toast an rc engine. so dont be a tard and buy a k&n get a motorsaver

Monstrous
dont bother their crap and useless there not even for rc ← yes they are, they are for 1:5 big scale, i have one on my monster beetle, much better than the stock foam one, and adds some performance Monstrous Edited April 17, 2005 by Monstrous
stupar
I have a K&N air filter for anyone who wants it, aswell as other R/C spares
Hawkeye
Prove it, i asked k&n my self they admit they dont do one for rc, they are made for little petrol lawn mowers. although they do fit, there probally ok on you 1/5th scale but any thing smaller and your talking damage
J C
The only reason u can use one in your 5th is because it has the same kind of engine as a strimmer.
Monstrous
yes so i proved my point they can be used on RC's, i didnt say they could be used on all RC's Monstrous
mth
the 5th scale one is quite a bit differen't to the small ones. 5th scale one is like an oil resoivour (sp) like the little ones but its got a big chunky bit of foam around it whichw ill stop dust getting in. unless your running offroad/dirty area then i can't see how enough dust will get into the engine to damage it.
