What is the biggest engine on a rc car

Probably a .70, I've seen conversions around, but the biggest practical engine, thats any good is a .30 really.

nitro i believe is the thunder tiger .90 cubic inch, petrol is something around 24-25cc i think.

Was going to say, seen some trucks and tanks that have the 70. and 90.

They arn't the best things though.

i think the ek4 with .90 did get released and it came with a few other hop up parts and was labelled as pro version

I thought the .90 was an option for the sntadard ek4 that came with a .70? doesn't realy matter does it

The large engines like the 70 and 90 are basicaly heli engines, loads of torque but no RPM, good for hill climbing and wheelies etc but not for the speed freaks.

lol, 40mph for a stock 70 sized ek4,tthats the same as the tmaxx or savvy!

and if your stupid enough to fit the two speed kit, well, you can see where its goin!

But when you compare the size of the engine, it isn't hugely impressive for what you'd expect. Not saying they're slow by anymeans.

yup i was going to put a big block in my 4 tech but there is no point unless you have the kind of gear ratio that needs that kind of torque to push it.

Twinzilla ? sounds logical

I've always been a bit sceptical of the twin engined trucks, from what i've read off of other forums (american ones) the increase in weight cancels out alot of the power gain, and it isn't like you're fitting a higher rpm engine, so top speed should theoretically be similar. Would love to see one going though!
