nizmonet Posted September 29, 2022 Share Posted September 29, 2022 Hello, I have this engine and it seems to have big leak from the back plate. First of all it causes green oil to come out into the pull start and make a right mess everywhere. I have seen a whole engine for sale on ebay, apparently just 1 tank through, and it has some oil come out the pull start already! I have a new backplate kit coming for it so hopefully that takes care of it! I done a leak test on it with soapy water and loads of bubbles around the backplate shaft (not where it seals against engine casing) and also some from the carb pinch bolts.
