RC Drifting: What do I need to know?

So I am looking to get an rc car this weekend and I know about as much as someone who had a couple rc cars as a kid, that's it. I am just looking for something to race around with at car meets, looking for EVERYTHING to cost around $250 to $300, that wheels, body, chassis, radio, everything I need to get going. Not sure totally what I am looking for, at the moment I know about the 3Racing Sakura D3 and the HPI Sprint 2, those are the two I have been looking at. I like the SD3 but it worries me that I am going to have to build it to a degree. Not sure if I should try to buy used or something off like ebay, let me know what I need. Thanks! https://9apps.ooo/

Hi mate, usually I’d say go to your local track and talk to people see what they use,

if that’s not possible then I’ll give you a few chassis that are good to start with

sakura D5 £100 new

Yokomo YD2 £175 new

MST RMX2.0 £175 new

i use a yokomo yd2 myself

good chassis and good esc and motor you can cheap out on everything else and upgrade over time
