James.S Posted December 8, 2020 Share Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) A little vid of my new ZD Racing Pirates V3 1/8 scale truggy, from this mornings session. It was cold, damp & icy out there, but it performed very well considering. Running on 3s lipo for the first few clips then switching out to 4s for the rest of the video The extra punch of the bigger lipo really makes this RC come alive. I reckon 50mph+ is easily achievable in dry conditions. It's a bit of beast, but fairly easy to control, even on slippery icy roads. I'm really impressed with how this car performs. It's a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy watching 🙂 If you're wondering why the wing isn't fitted it's because the incorrect washers were supplied with the car (the holes are too big so the heads of the screws provided go straight through).
