Happy birthday to me. My early present. 😊

Ack, can't play with it yet - the charger for the jump start battery is an car charger. No standard 3 pin plug for the charger! How odd!!

Battery is a Tamiya plug type and I don't have a charger for it. Grrrr.

Now I know why. Traxxas want me to get this!

Is there another way of doing this or do I need to get this one?

You just need a 12v to 240 convertor

Anything like this. Weather they good or not who knows.

Another option is to find out the imput voltage and buy a new lead

What did you find out as to why traxxas wanted you to get the converter thing besides extracting as much cash out of you as possible?

Officially, I didn't find out.

Unofficially (and my research) - they build the RC, put all of the bits in the box and sold it worldwide without having to worry about having different boxes with different adaptors. They just have one box and that's it. Then they sell this AC -> DC in each part of the world to get you up & running.

That's my best guess.
