Airbrush Compressor Advice - Scale Models

TWINSET

Recommended Posts

I've got a Sparmax Airbrush which a mate wants to use for scale models (1/48 planes etc, nothing too fiddly)

Is something like either of these any good?

It'll be used in a garage so silent running isn't vital.

The Airbrush was originally part of a kit like this one but the compressor's packed in

The only thing I think it needs is an adjustable air output - some of the camo tutorials on Youtube suggest 15psi for dusting etc.

Budget is around £130 for compressor only, as I think I got all the other bits (somewhere)

My only problem with it was the whole pressure valve assembly has become a bit in accurate over time. It's still perfectly usable butI think where i've used high pressure paints/brushes on it, it's become a bit sloppy, meaning the fine control has gone. However if you've a good dual action brush, that can be compensated.
